I was hoping to love this wonderful country mas..it occupies a beautiful spot in the countryside of the Luberon valley, and is housed in a very attractive old Provençal building. Unfortunately, however, the actual facilities are rather tired and dilapidated (broken sunloungers around a very unsavoury looking green (not in a good way) swimming pool, sparsely furnished, very basic 80s-style bedrooms with no charm and looking very tired and dated. The staff I spoke to were polite and pleasant enough but in an area which is full of outstanding, welcoming and cared-for guest houses in a beautiful part of the world, this one certainly doesn’t compete.

Set on a 1-hectare park in the heart of the Luberon Natural Park, Les Sables d'Ocre & SPA Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the center of the village of Roussillon where many restaurants can be found.
