Toul is a run down town, not very attractive, in spite of a cathedral
which needs repair. There's obviously no money for it. Near the
hotel, there was only one reasonable restaurant. The center is being terrorized by youth on very loud motorcycles. Toul is a place to avoid.

Nice town, beautiful cathedral.
Nice town, beautiful cathedral. Visit restaurant Table á Victor because that food is simply delicious, the interior style is very Jugendstil, lighting is subtle and the manager is a very sympathetic person!

The cathedral is a great visit.
The cathedral is a great visit. They have a museum which includes natural history, religious items, lots of things from the wars, personal letters, and a great deal more. It is located on the rue Gouvion St. Cyr and is in a building which dates from the 13th century. The town itself was one of four cities in France designed by Vauban and a lot of the walls of the fortified city are still standing and in good shape. Take a walk by the canals for some exercise and nice scenery
In town, a few minutes from a supermarket. Reasonably clean, acceptable bed for a night stay. Cheap, in that sense decent price/quality. However, that also means there’s not much else. Note: Although just 1 or 2 floors, there is no elevator. No problem unless you’re differently able. Friendly receptionist when arrived. With its shortcomings: fine one night road stop when you need a simple stay in Toul.
Beautiful and very charming hotel, loved the wallpaper, large room keys, old/antique furniture and overall classical feel. Pretty and very spacious room with a comfortable bed, and the shower is nice and warm. Perfect location if you're traveling as it's close to the autoroute, and we would have loved to spend an extra day here as Toul was surprisingly pretty! Great restaurants at walking distance.
This property is wonderful and everything is catered for within it. The owner is extremely helpful with local advice. The apartment is also spotlessly clean, comfortable and we wish that we could have stayed longer. Toul is a nice town with a lot of history associated to it. The cathedral is the oldest in France and well worth a visit.
The apartment was large and the decor was eclectic, the overall effect was very pleasant.
The location was great, an easy walk into Toul and less than a 15 minute walk to the railway station with regular trains to Nancy.
The WiFi was fast but the log in details were not really advertised well.
Location is good in Toul old toown, shops and cafes nearby. Also public free parking is only 3 minute walk. Reception is open very short time, no way to get early in or leave baggage.. Very old school, old style hotel. Wifi is strong, all clean.
The location near to the canal that we were fishing the World Championships.. The parking facilities. The nearness to restaurants and bars. The cost of the accommodation compared to hotels .Plenty of hot water. Quiet location.
Location was excellent, situated in the heart of Toul, on top of bakery, breakfast is sorted!! Beautiful cafe and restaurant and water fountain all adorn the location. And under cover carparking.
It was well positioned on the outskirts of Toul and within walking distance of the town centre. A good sized room with clean bed linen and a comfy bed. It had a minibar. The host was pleasant.
A nice little hotel in Toul. The perfect stop on your route to the south of France. The rooms are clean, and there is a private parking place available.
Fine location underway to the South of France. Very nice classic hotel and a very friendly staff/ owner. Breakfast was very good, especially the coffee
