Gilcrux is a tiny village with a good pub serving good food.
Gilcrux is a tiny village with a good pub serving good food. The area is very rural so it is just the very beautiful country side with a few towns not too far away like Cockermouth with lots of nice shops and eateries, and coastal towns on the West coast like Maryport and Silloth near the Solway Firth.ColdronUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the local beeches caravan...
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the local beeches caravan park. We had food and drinks in The Mason Arms which is dog friendly. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Food was delicious. Everyone we encountered was friendly. A local recommended a pizza place called Bella pizza in the next village dearham which was delicious. Great, large cosey caravan, host was lovely, caravan park is lovely and well kept with great views and great play area for the kids, two pubs in walking distance, we went to the Masons Arms for food and drink it was lovely and the owner was very friendly, would definitely recommend this caravan and location, we went to the Aquarium in Maryport and Wildlife Park which were only short drives awayJenniferUnited Kingdom
