The Langford Inn, hotel in Langford

Adjacent to The Langford Inn are bedrooms with attached bathroom housed in 2 converted 17th-century barns with exposed beams, original brickwork, oak floors and luxuries for modern living.

I was warmly greeted and shown to my room. The room is absolutely lovely. They provided many extras. I had Prosecco and an IPA waiting for me when I arrived. The bed is fabulous. The shower was good water pressure and very warm. The linens were very plush and towels huge. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate provided. I ate dinner there and had a wonderful dining experience. Andrew fixed me a bag of food items for the early departure since I would miss breakfast. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I would caution that if you’re a very light sleeper, there are some sounds that might wake you. The cars leaving might be the loudest but they are gone, but I was there when a very large dinner party was happening. I will definitely go there again. It was only a 10 minute drive (easy drive for an American) back to the car rental return. Then a bus to the airport.

    Cottage was gorgeous.

Cottage was gorgeous. Beautifully furnished, well-equipped, great location, and spacious. There was a great pub opposite, dog-friendly, good veggie and gluten-free food options - and good choice of beers. It was really warm and cosy. A real home-from-home. Parking outside on the road. The only thing was - which someone else mentioned - is a dip in the bed. And a baby gate would be good to stop dogs from going upstairs. But we would definitely stay again and definitely recommend - really quality accommodation and a lovely, helpful owner. Also spotlessly clean. Coffee machine, microwave, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, shower and bath, great wifi, and great location. Very sunny and light.

Great location close to Bristol with nicely presented rooms and a very pleasant restaurant. However, our stay was let down by small items missing from the room and poor service at dinner. To offer a pre-dinner snack/savoury but then not serve until after your starters had arrived is not what I would expect, especially given the cost of the food.

We stayed in the Langford suite, which was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The Inn is located near some great walks in the Mendips, excellent location for different journeys. Lunch and breakfast were very good and the staff were friendly and attentive. A hidden gem in the Mendips. The garden also had cinema set-up outdoors for the weekend. Certainly recommend and would head back in the near future. Thank you

    In need of refurbishment.

In need of refurbishment. Don't consider it was value for money. Very disappointed. Bathroom dirty. Half used toiletries. Hygiene container empty. Wallpaper hanging down on ceiling. Waste bin lid rusty. Bath mat stained, & dirty. Hairdryer didn't work. Old kettle stand broken & left on work top. WIFI didn't work.

We were visiting Langford to see friends.

We were visiting Langford to see friends. The village itself is quaint as are all the surrounding villages and towns. Bristol harbour, Cheddar Gorge and Wells (The smallest city in England) are all within easy striking distance and well worth a visit as is Wookey Hole!

Very welcoming and professional staff. Particularly well managed by the duty manager, Kaitlyn, who went out of her way to welcome us to the hotel and make us feel at ease. Throughout our stay she was onvduty and we were impressed as business owners at the way the whole, very young staff, were professional and well supervised. We will definitely be back to stay the room was comfortable the food was good and the overall quality was exceptional. Thank you.

This place is exceptional. The staff are all so lovely, all with smiles on their faces. The room was so clean, fresh smelling and welcoming. The touch of music playing when you enter the room is sweet. Toiletries are beaut too. The food in the restaurant for dinner was amazing, and breakfast was the best hotel breaky I have ever had. I will definitely be back here and recommend it to everyone!
