This property is beautiful, comfortable, and very secure. I travel alone so having a safe and secure environment is paramount. It was perfect! Flowers are everywhere. The beds are plush and wonderful. The room is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is 5 Star worthy. The hosts are so friendly and attentive. I just love it.
Around 30 minutes’ drive from Peterborough and King’s Lynn, Oliver Twist Country Inn offers high-quality rooms, and a wide-ranging menu at its informal restaurant.

To far from Cambridge and Ely, we couldn’t find a nice restaurant for our anniversary dinner, there are plenty of places to eat but these are mainly takeout places or pubs with basic pub food. We had booked a room for 3 nights at the causeway guest house but only stayed for 2 due to the damp in the room.
I wouldn’t recommend March

March town centre was in upheaval due to repaving etc so was not at its best so can’t comment, however I’d like to return to explore. A good base from which to visit other places of interest, we had a marvellous day out in King’s Lynn and would have happily stayed longer to visit other places. Our accommodation, The Causeway Guest House, provided the perfect base being comfortable, hospitable and excellent value.

Ive never been here before and was suprised how big March was, lots of lovely little shops I'd like to go back and explore.
The place we stayed was really comfortable and friendly.
If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed.
my husband and I stay here about once every three weeks when we come to visit my mum in a care home in March. We love the hotel rooms in the old part of the property and we try to book room 101 when we can which is a lovely large double. The lady in charge ( I think) of Maintaining the rooms knows us and always asks after my mum as she knows our purpose of our visit which is a great personal touch. The rooms are immaculate well serviced and extremely clean.
Breakfast is great value and we enjoy a good evening meal and late night drinks.
Breakfast was brought to our room at the arranged time and was exactly as ordered and plentiful. The room was perfectly adequate for our 2 night stay and was clean and quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We had our own patio area but didn't get round to using it and felt we could have used the garden area more if we had have stayed longer. The location was good for us to be able to drive to visit places and was a steady half hour stroll away from March town so I could have a couple of beers over a meal without driving.
We stayed here for the weekend whilst visiting family.
Everything about this place was perfect. Location was central to March, the bungalow was modern, well equipped with everything you need, the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and the bed was super comfy!
In March itself you have access to lovely walks along the river Nene, lots of eateries and/or supermarkets if you wish to cook yourself.
Our stay was perfect in every way!

The room was excellent very clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was superb with a wide selection including the best porridge I’ve had in a hotel or guest house plus an added bonus of bananas. The owner waited on at breakfast and nothing was too much trouble….thank you!
The property is situated in a very nice quite location with a beautiful front entrance.
We thought we were going into a castle.
In all, it’s well situated and a lovely getaway.
The Wi-Fi was very fast and it’s got Sky tv to our surprise, You don’t even find that in hotels .
We felt very safe as there is a security gate and security cameras around the property.
Quiet location on edge of March, surrounded by fenland but within reach of rail station.
Apartment 2 had its own outdoor seating area. Spacious living room and kitchen.
Fresh milk provided.
Nice and warm. (It was unseasonably cold)
I was only here for one night but it would be a good place to return to after busy days sightseeing and exploring.
Didn’t get to stay at the property as I was double booked after travelling 5 hours I then had to find another place to stay at 10:30pm and still no refund so I’m out of pocket too - I was lucky enough to find a hotel however everywhere was fully booked up so thank goodness for the hotel that saved us !
It's a lovely little snug comfortable bed a lovely bathroom it had everything I needed for my 4 nights stay I would definitely stay there again and only 2 minutes walk to March town center and finally the host's were brilliant.
Didn’t realise Weatherspoons did hotels until this location. I also didn’t expect the lovely quality of the room. It was really a very pleasant surprise. Hotels with names charge so much more for rooms of lower quality.
The hosts were absolutely delightful, the snug was clean comfortable and great value for money. Will definatly be looking to stay with them again when I travel down to march.
Old, dangerous stairs to hotel, our room was directly above the beer garden so noise was unreal! They had a disco until 2am which made the whole room vibrate
the hotel was central just off the high street but felt very relaxing. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with large bathrooms - lots of parking
