Nice old inn, very comfortable and quirky in a fun way. Our host, Glenn, was friendly, helpful and just a good guy. THe food was out of this world. We ate dinner there 2 nights when we could have gone elsewhere. Glenn cooked us our choice of breakfast each day and it started us off with a smile. Excellent experience, would go back there in a heartbeat.

A large village with three pubs. About a mile or so from the property but walkable if you wanted to. Only tried The White Swan (twice) but it was excellent. There are two shops in the village. The Pink Pig Farm (about 10 miles away) is an excellent day out for children up to 12.

Scotter is a lovely little village, we went there for my husband to go fishing and there are two decent fishing lakes nearby.
There are a couple of pubs and lots of different take aways all within walking distance of the hotel.
Room 30. Lovely size and big comfortable bed with wonderful bathroom with bath and shower. Visit a couple of times a year from Scotland to see my elderly father living in Scotter so a perfect place to stay.
Didn’t have breakfast this time but had an evening meal in the bar which was excellent.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent. Nothing was to much trouble and requests were always met.
All the meals were excellent and good value for money. Will definetly stay again. Thank you
Hotel very modern and clean. Staff very friendly. Room comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast included in the room rate was delicious. Restaurant very friendly and welcoming.
All aspects of the hotel were great, but in particular the staff were excellent and the food was delicious, especially the Chocolate and Tonka bean creme brulee.
The White Swan is a really nice pub type hotel in a pleasant village. The team there are friendly and the food service is excellent. Evening meal was superb.
