The beach is very close, basically, the hotel is situated on the coast. Breakfast was okay, I would expect more options, especially for vegetables, but it was good. On the bar, the only reasonable option was a beer, the rest of the alcohol was not acceptable for my taste.

Joel is combination of beautiful, unobtrusive design and luxurious comfort. All the windows in hotel have magnificent views of mediterranian surroundings, there is relaxing music in the background and a lot of space for a low number of guest (it is aparthotel, after all), so you can be sure to find a little bit of peace and quite for yourself. Rooms are super comfy, with enormous bed, again a lot of space, beautiful view and fully equipped kitchen. What we liked most in Joel is true Croatian hospitality. In the background it is a family run hotel and you can feel it. And yes, there may be some tinniest details that could be improved, but nothing that could in any way jeopardize your perfect holiday :)

I was so impressed with everything about my stay - from the ferry ride across to the ferry ride back! I arrived at the hotel later in the evening, and Lucian the owner and Mio the concierge were waiting at the door to help me unload before I even got out of the car! Such a great welcome, a beer for later even. Check in was so easy, again Lucian had everything ready. The room was immaculate, stocked with plenty of towels, and a porch that opened up to a cool ocean breeze. The breakfast service was delicious - fresh fruit, sliced meats, breads, coffee, cereals...whatever you want! I had forgot my swimming trunks, and when I asked Mio where I should go - he took me out to his car and drove me to the store and negotiated the best price for me! 😀 the stay on-island was like a paradise; the ocean, sun, but really the high point was dealing with Lucian and his sister Beatriz. Check out was just as easy, Beatriz was so charming and engaging I didn't want to leave. Thank you all - I look forward to returning soon!

Excellent location, nice dining option on the marina boardwalk . We enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast and drinks at night. Staff were very helpful at front desk and in dining/bar area. Breakfast was very good.room was clean and comfortable other than funny odor

We liked the view from our balcony and definitely the swimming pool. You get value for money for this tourist oriented hotel. The elevator from the street to the pool level is very convenient. Personal is friendly and helpful.
