The hotel seems to be a recently opened one, it looks amazing, very modern, the room is big and comfortable, same applies for the bathroom. The location is just perfect, it is in the city center, walking distance to the castle, restaurants are next door. The staff was very nice and helpful, we had a late check-in and it went very smoothly. I can only recommend this place.

The location is just in front of the castle, and in the middle of the historical circus, so it's easy to start anything from here. The street is super chill. Long distance bus-stop is in 3 mins walk.
The room is cute and had all I needed, the nice furniture is really having a vibe (and still functional), the single-bed room is comfortable, not crammed, and although the bed is the hard type, I had a good rest here.

It is a small town with nothing much to do, more so since it was 1 January and everything was closed. The Church of the Sacred Heart in the centre of the town is absolutely stunning inside. Kőszeg is a nice, tiny town at the Austro-Hungarian border. There are beautifully renovated houses from the 17-18. century in downtown and, of course, the Fortress. The churches are also beautiful. The main one at Fő tér is under reconstruction. Locals are friendly and helpful. I owe many thanks to one of them (Barbara, from the Hair and Beauty Salon near Tesco and Penny Markt) who helped me find a new accomodation after I had realized the one I booked was out of question.VikiHungary

The downtown is just around the corner, but very quiet during the night. (We had a stay on Saturday night, and we slept soundly) There is 2 separate bedroom with 2 separate toalett, and the kitchen is very well equipped. There is no stairs, the apartment is on the ground floor and we were able to park just right in front of the apartment. All in all the stay was exceptional, its very rare when we find such a nice apartment. Highly recommended.
