Over the years we stay in this town and second time in this hotel. Let's be clear - it's used mostly for layovers, flights waiting and etc. For 1-2 nights it's fine, but no more. Breakfast got worse in 1 year, no free tea of coffee as it was before. Rooms are very basic. No amenity kit inside, basic shampoo, soaps. If I remember correctly - no tea in the room also.

Holiday Inn Express features modern decorated rooms with free WiFi and a free breakfast in the morning.

We've stayed here before and had no hesitation in staying again. There is still a lot of building work going on in the area but we heard no noise and the hotel was well signposted. Staff were efficient and always helpful. Comfortable room. Breakfast was a Continental buffet with a lot of choice but, apart from boiled eggs, no hot food. A good way to start the day. It was easy to walk to the station for trains to Amsterdam or the airport.

Emplyees at the frontdesk were friendly, even when was found out I booked over Booking.com without parking reservation. Shuttlebus is a really good POS, and the primary reason why I frequently use Vd Valk Schiphol for business and private use.
