The villa is absolutely beautiful! There are hammocks everywhere and you're literally 10 feet away from the ocean. The volunteers there were all very kind and welcoming. The surf lessons ROCKED. Ryan is an insanely incredible teacher. If you're going to stay here, you need to do a surf lesson.

La libertad is nice but el tunco is a bit better in my ooo ion with more to do. We walked the beaches however the tide was pretty high most of the day so it was difficult to properly enjoy. The town is easily walkable. They were setting up for a surf competition so the park and a few other places were closed leaving a la k of options. Pa y Ma had great food in town!! Probably the highlight of the area.

I stayed 2 days and really enjoyed my time there. I stayed in playa st Blas during the day and drove to playa El Tunco every evening for the restaurants and the night life. Beautiful beaches; it's is a shame business owners do not invest money in keeping the beaches cleaner. And some of the business owners empty waste in the ocean. So disappointing they have their business there and do not protect this beautiful beaches.

I love La libertad it has so many Beaches and places to explore. It is just amazing. If you live seafood or surfing this is the place. If you ever go there and like the living night and have fun like nightclubs visit El Tunco especially on weekends.AAnonymousUnited States

The picture of the facility look great but when you we arrived there the pool really small 7 feet long my husband and we decided this place for the good review, but the owner need to improved his location the bathroom and AC need maintenance and show the real size of the pool out boys can’t enjoyed it because was really small . the area restaurants are really nice the food great en El tunco , but hotel need to do better maintenance they cut off the water after 930pm

One of the front desk employees, Marlon, was very helpful in every way. It was conveniently located next to a lot of local businesses and Surf City. You can get a cheap thrill or a modern experience by turning left or right. Breakfast was very simple. They delivered it at 8am and it was a random assortment everyday. I would recommend trying breakfast at a restaurant if you have a lot of time as we did. However, it was enough to get the day started.

It's got a beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean, perfect for enjoying the sunset. There's a restaurant on site and several more next door. The highlight though is the owner. A very generous and soulful character with myriads of stories to tell. He went out of his way to accommodate me when I was having a bad day, and truly made my stay in La Libertad remarkable.

Half an hour walk into La Libertad Port town. Plenty to see & do. Other restaurants closer by, if you didn't fancy eating at the hotel all the time. The beach was very close. We didn't have time to use the 3 pools, but we could see they were well maintained & clean. El Tunco 30 mins taxi or bus ride at busy times. Quicker, if less traffic!
