Our view of the bridge was awesome! The location was wonderful also. It was easy to find and there were restaurants and stores very close by. We were given casino vouchers which was a happy surprise.

I liked how close it was to the ferry dock and the staff were nice. The pancake machine was kind of cool too.

Very clean overall with nice comfortable bed and nice bathroom! Staff was great!
Amazing. Love it. We’ve been before, and will return again.
Amazing. Love it. We’ve been before, and will return again. This time, we stayed at the Voyager Inn, it was okay but not great. Next time, we’ll camp at Straits State Park like we did the first time. We’ve taken Shepler’s Ferry to Mackinac Island both times, and it was great. If you’re bringing your own bikes, it’s cheaper to pay for them to ride the ferry with you than to rent bikes on the island.

Interesting city, lots of history. we find it’s a good place to stay as between the Upper peninsular & Lower Michigan thereby visiting both cities of Mackinaw City & St Ignace and their offerings. Clydes is a great old school hamburger drive in restaurant & across the street is the Truck Stop restaurant with great breakfasts.

You already should have a record all of the communication…it was considerable, with a complete lack of understanding, or sympathy, buck-passing. I admitted I somehow made the error…I started the process IMMEDIATELY….I explained, I implored them, I was willing to pay a penalty, and last, but not least, I will try not to stay at a Quality Inn again. I hope your company never makes simple mistakes…it was in USD, to boot…

We loved Joses cantina for Mexican food - it was busy on a Friday night, but the food was great and had live music. As always the shoreline drive is a sight to see, walking on the beach and exploring the Tahquamenon Falls is great for a drive.

This town used to have a lot more to offer 35 years ago.
This town used to have a lot more to offer 35 years ago. Former governor deeply hurt the state years ago and the tourism and a lot of people were forced to leave the state to look for work. The present Governor is continuing to destroy the state and the tourism industry. There's a lot of former great shops and tourists attractions in this town that have closed up over the years. St ignace has the better motels and Mackinaw city has better shops and attractions.

The prices seemed much better in St.
The prices seemed much better in St. Ignace than they were south of the bridge in Mackinaw City. Breakers was a steal for the price and the staff service was excellent. Please note that if you struggle with stairs, this resort will be challenging for you. Other than that, it's a great place to stay.
Location. Small, family owned, friendly, ease of access to room, very clean, nice bathroom! I liked the chairs outside each room to enjoy sitting on porch. Quiet. I was there during motorcycle show and they were outside playing music, talking and using fire pit. Weren't loud, respectful to turn off music at decent hour, though it wasn't loud or bothersome. Pet friendly, which is what I need when I visit the area.
The room was probably the cleanest hotel/motel room I've ever stayed in! If you are looking for all the bells and whistles, move on. But if you want a clean room, comfortable bed, microwave, fridge, TV, wifi and stocked bathroom that is spotless, all at a very reasonable price this is your gem. I almost hate making this review because the next time I want to book, it may not be available
Check in was quick and easy - staff was very friendly. Room we stayed in was huge. Room and bathroom was updated and very clean. The breakfast spread had a huge selection and was amazing! The pool and hot tub inside was also very clean. Hotel felt safe even with the doors to the rooms being outside (I am very hesitant typically to stay at places with this layout.)
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great location! Can walk to the best food in northern Michigan “Buoys By The Bay” 2 doors down! Free parking, well lit lot…front desk was incredibly attentive and friendly. They don’t have King bed rooms, but 2 queens was actually a great and spacious alternative!
Location and view of the lake. Room was spacious and clean for the most part. They had a decent breakfast(fresh waffles)…still Covid restrictions though so not an extensive hot breakfast selection. Pool/hot tub were open. This was a pet friendly hotel!
We always stay at this hotel when we travel to the UP. It is a unique little hotel. The owners go above and beyond. The room themes are well thought out, clean, massage chairs are relaxing. My husband likes the shuttle to the casino.
Great view Lake Michigan from room and restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Late night dessert in restaurant was phenomenal --all three --Chocolate Cheesecake, Apple crisp, and the Michigan donut Breakfast was good too.
The care and attention that goes into the running of this hotel are clearly evident. I found the room delightful and comfortable. Enjoyed chatting wit7h the innkeeper at check-in and receiving dining recommendations.
The bed was nice and firm! Actually one of the best beds I've ever had at a hotel. Perfect weight blanket too. Very clean. Great food next door at Johnnie's.
The view was great. We loved eating breakfast on our balcony, listening and watching the waves of Lake Michigan come in and out. The room was spacious.
