Great location for exploring Northumberland. Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated and furnished. Walking distance to Bellingham for shops etc. Great hosts, informative and responsive.
Great place to stay. Would recommend and would return.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Set in Northumberland National Park the location was idyllic. The approach to the hall was a drive way with sheep grazing either side of it, that followed the river.
Breakfast was good with the use of local products. We stayed for dinner which was very good with a slightly changed choice of meal each night. The bar was very friendly and well stocked!
