There is also a seating area and a fireplace. This is a lovely little 1 bedroom cottage. We thought we would have 2 bedrooms but instead had a hide a bed in the living room. There was a communication issue and we did not have bedding for the hide a bed though that was remedied.....The kitchen was great and there was a washer, though no drier. The wood burning stove was a delight as we had a very rainy, cold windy night and it warmed the house quickly. The owner has a 2 bedroom cottage across the street and we would book that next time. This cottage is perfect for a couple, not great for two friends traveling together.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the great welcome basket waiting for us, thank you Caroline! There were even binoculars for spotting wildlife. Supermarket close by, although we did most shopping in Stornoway. We had a great time! After we left I found out I forgot something very special to me and Caroline arranged to send it back to me without delay: again many thanks here!
