For visitors looking to embark on day trips to nearby landmarks, the country house offers a selection of packed lunches. This lodging was unique and beautiful. We were late arriving due to circumstances beyond our control. The host was waiting for us and welcomed us warmly. We had bought picnic foods along the way to eat in our rooms, but he opened a lovely side porch with large table and put out plates and silverware and made us feel right at home.

Featuring a country cottage style, each house offers a kitchen with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The kitchen includes a ceramic hob with an oven and a grill, along with a selection of kitchenware. The cottages were so comfortable and much bigger than we expected. Kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to cook all our meals. The views were stunning, the farm animals were so friendly and entertained the kids all day long. This was the best place we have ever stayed and will return again. The cottage had 4 single beds and 1 queen with super comfortable linens. 3 bathrooms. Wood burning stove. It was super clean. And had a washer/dryer. Amazing place for families.

The host was incredibly kind and flexible too - we were delayed a bit on the western side of the country coming over and they were so wonderfully accommodating allowing us to check in by almost 10pm. it was such a life saver!!! They were in constant communication with us to make sure we were doing well and had everything wee needed. Truly a wonderful host!
