The house that I had my room used to be an old vinery in the small village. My room with two windows and the balcony was very comfortable and quiet. The common kitchen was amazing, I felt like I jumped to old times. Clean and had everything the guest might need (even coffee and tea). The host was very friendly. Very spacious and clean property which was furnished to a high standard and had an old fashioned charm and a great view over the surrounding countryside. The housekeeper, Elsa, gave us a warm welcome and explained where everything was even though her English was as limited as our Portuguese. She also provided some fresh vegetables from her garden which was a nice bonus. Overall we had an excellent and comfortable stay which we wished could have been longer.
