Christelle and Jean-Etienne gave us a very warm welcome to Chateau d' Argentonesse and the Josephine Tower. We had a delightful few days in the Josephine Tower to celebrate my birthday, we only wished we had booked for longer. The property is surrounded by extensive gardens and has a beautiful pool for relaxing. The Chateau is very well positioned for touring the Dordogne River region, and the many picturesque medieval towns are only 20 minutes' drive away. We would highly recommend Chateau 'Argentonesse for your holiday. Christelle and Jean-Etienne should be commended for the amazing results to the renovations to ensure this beautiful property is preserved for future generations and visitors. We had a lovely stay in a beautiful room in a charming manor house. We enjoyed the sense of history intermixed with a modern original art showcase. We loved the hot tub and sauna and even managed to cool down in the pool. Aurélia prepared delicious charcuterie and snacks in the evening and a welcoming breakfast in the grand dining hall. A beautiful place in a quiet, charming hamlet.

Beautiful Château in a very quaint village with stunning walks nearby. We ate twice for breakfast and twice in the restaurant and what a gastronomique experience we had ! The breakfast - we had so much choice of fresh and artisan products all delicious and the evening meals we had were exceptional ! So much love has been put into the food and everything was cooked to perfection and there was some fantastic surprises on the menu unfortunately we couldn't eat every dish but we will be back to do just that ! Thank you for you passion we appreciated it greatly ! The room was lovely and high class bedding. For everything room, breakfast and dinner it all was very reasonably priced - compared to a lot of other places i would call it a bargain for the price/quality Merci !!
