Our host Giovanna was lovely. She gave us tips on what to do in the area. The house is a walking distance from the Pianello ferry that gets you to the other villages and tourist spots. Breakfast was lovely with different home made cake everyday.

The House is very cozy, decorated in a country-side style. They have a lot of Animals and a big outdoor area to sit. The Food was exceptionally good, with almost everything coming from their own Production. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all questions that we had during our stay. Location is also amazing: no traffic sounds, no parties, all very quiet and peaceful. Wonderful view of the Lake and the Alps.

Agriturismo La Fonte Di Mariella is surrounded by chestnut trees in Dosso del Liro, 7 km from Lake Como. It offers a traditional restaurant and country-style rooms with Liro Valley views. A beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff (thanks, Dario and Aki!!:), excellent dinner and breakfast, specious room with comfortable beds, peaceful environment with a magnificent view - who could ask for more? GREAT value for money, and a great ending for the last night of our journey on the Via Dei Monti Lariani!
