The restaurant was great and very convenient for both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a lot to choose from. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner was exceptional, the food and wine were great. Very convenient location close to a lot of the Tuscan hill towns. The grounds were well maintained and the pool area was beautiful. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The communal kitchen was well equipped.

Country Resort Guadalupe is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse, renovated to host rooms and 16 elegant apartments. It is located a 15-minute drive from Grosseto, and parking is free. An excellent hospitality and a beautiful place surrounded by greenery. Great interiors. We had a late check in and early check out - even it was beyond reception working hours it was no problem to do all check-in by email. The manager offered to provide us a breakfast box waiting for us in a room because of our very early check out before standard breakfast hours. I really appreciate it. I wish I could stay there longer!

Beautiful location. Clean and modern rooms and facilities. Good breakfast - choice of eggs or pancakes and buffet with meats, cheeses, pastries. Dinners were very nice at the hotel with a set three course meal. Excellent wines for a good price. Staff were friendly. Good location - halfway between Florence and Pisa. We were able to do day trips to these locations. Still nestled away in Tuscan hills for quiet and peace. Things to be aware of - dirt road leading to the house. Would be difficult to access without a car. Some bugs and things in the room which would be expected for agrotourism. Overall not a major issue.

We loved Poggio Giulia and had an amazing holiday at this beautiful and quiet place. The place was very well maintained and clean. The surrounding garden was beautiful and the pool was perfect and clean. It is situated on a small hilltop and has a lovely typical tuscan view and tranquility. Last but not least the owners were always available and very friendly and helpful.

Maria is a thoughtful and generous host, anticipating what we'd need after a long day of hiking on the Via Degli Dei. She had a variety of snacks and drinks available for very reasonable prices, and she arranged delivery of an excellent dinner from a nearby restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Great stay!
