Die Lemoenhuis, featuring barbecue facilities and a garden, is located in Calvinia, 600 metres from Calvinia Museum and 3.3 km from Akkerendam Nature Reserve. Liz, Francois and the dogs were so welcoming! The cottage is beautiful, spacious, bright and nicely decorated. It is lovely and warm and the gas heater and electric blankets were great touches. Wifi works well and just a fantastic place to stay. Highly reccommend staying here:)

Featuring a garden and views of lake, Bezalel Wine & Brandy Estate is a recently renovated farm stay set in Kanoneiland, 30 km from Upington Golf Club. The room is beautifull. Shower with cobble stones. We were really sorry to depart. Only 20km from Upington. Worth the extra 20km if you plan to visit the Kalagadi from Gauteng.

The Artist Cottage is situated in Sutherland. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Nice cozy cottage, well equipped. Location within walking distance of shops, restaurants. Very neat. Lanie went out of her way to get my things back to me that I left in the cottage.
