Located about 600 meters above sea level overlooking Sao Filipe and Fogo’s west coast the property is set in beautiful, green scenery with amazing views. Fantastic common area with outdoor lounge and bar, with own deck and pool too, and serving lovely dishes and drinks all day. A perfect place to unwind after hiking in and around this amazing island, and a super base for venturing up to Cha de Caldeiras and scaling Pico de Fogo. Our hosts Ellen and Aaron were fantastically helpful in every way possible in arranging excursions and helpful tips. The dinners were superb, with super vegetarian and vegan options too based on local and ecological produce.

We really enjoyed our stay at Palmeira Da Cruz. It's a small paradise at Cape Verde with all the luxuries you could want. Facilities are very beautiful, breakfast and dinner where delicious, and the hosts where so kind!!
