Was super cosy, really comfy ! The bathroom was nice, the property easy to find and the check in was nice and easy, with the staff showing us where everything was and telling us everything we needed to know:) the property was also close to the beach and there was a nice coastal walk nearby that we went to for sunrise

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious. The EV charger, though a little slow, was a great asset. Our room was very comfortable and the walkway to the cabin was well maintained. Great to have the Pennicott tour pick us up from the Lodge Jetty. The extra tea bags supplied during our stay were a nice surprise.

The Loontitetermairrelehoiner Track is a wonderful walk around the coast from Waterloo Beach to Schouten Beach. The walk itself is not as long as the name suggests.
Very nice views of Great Oysters Bay, with backdrop of Freycinet Peninsula.
As usual in Tasmania, there is nearly no one to be seen on the main street of this town after about 7pm. It's refreshing.

From a tourist perspective Swansea was lacking.
From a tourist perspective Swansea was lacking. Not much choice of places to eat. The oyster bar was closed due to weather, we were unable to get to the patisserie as the bridge was closed due to flooding, the pub closed at 2 so cant have a late lunch which often happens as a tourist. the IGA was closed for some reason and there was a small express IGA that had your basic items. We had dinner at a small local cafe and it was very expensive for what it is $40 for a main. But we didn't have a choice as pub full and that was the only place in town open.

Beautiful stay, super cozy and best sleep I have had on the whole trip.
10/10 for charm & spa bath was amazing after all the walking done. Great pub 2second walk down the road, loved the experience
Self contained chalet that had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Well located to walk to dinner on the main street of Swansea. Could hear the waves up against the shore faintly but was a quiet area overall. Lovely reception staff. Our chalet was a row back from the beach but still had views of the water. We know for next time to book a water front chalet to be right on the beach!
Wow! We loved everything about this motel. The family who run the motel are fantastic, highly knowledgeable, friendly efficient. Love our check-in lass Jo, and her dad gave us a great tip to dine at the Lobster Shack in Bicheno. The views of the bay are beautiful, as are the gardens. A great self service laundry too. Walk around the whole town from this location.
Lovely quant historic cottage nestled in a peaceful location. Maureen, one of the hosts was so welcoming and informative. The fresh mulberry tree with ripe berries to share, offers of eggs and bacon all added to the charm. Why stay in a boring hotel/motel when you can enjoy a piece of Tasmania history. Would highly recommend.
The location - right near the beach, walking distance to the iga, walking distance to everything! The staff were very friendly (ever rang us when we had forgotten our drinks), the rooms were good for the age of the hotel. The family that own this inn are amazing and we will be back when back in Tasmania!
Swansea is a small town so the Holiday Park was not far from the town centre in fact you could walk. The Holiday Cabin was very clean and the beach was covered in seaweed but I'm sure in the warmer weather months the beach would be fine.
The beach is right at the back door oft the Holiday Park.
The location was fantastic with private access to the beach which was only a 3 minute walk. The house itself had everything you needed plus a huge book and DVD library, lots of play things for the kids and an outdoor shower for after being at the beach which was a brilliant idea.
The cabin was situated on the cliff top and had a sea view. The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. All necessary amenities are u ok were provided. The bed was comfy and was greeted by the sunrise from our bedroom window . A short distance drive to Swansea town
Amazing views, absolutely stunning.
Furnished and decorated really nice inside, with large spacious and modern rooms.
Location was good, not too far from Swansea and ideal for visiting Freycinet National Park.
Massive bathroom towels were a nice touch.
As a retired tourism executive this was one of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have stayed at anywhere in the world.
A generous, supurb cooked breakfast with fresh fruit and super juice.
The hotel was right on the beach with great walking paths around the golf course and beach areas. Though not associated with the Hotel, the Waterloo Restaurant was exceptional.
