Wellington Motel has not returned my $100 "security deposit". We checked out Sunday morning October 1 and today is Thursday October 5. Beautiful Gateway Park Walk along the Murray River with spectacular sculptures depicting dreaming stories! A great activity to share with family. I went to Wodonga to see the Army Museum at Bandiana which was excellent! Well organised, plenty of interesting exhibits, and very helpful staff. We spent 2+hours there. Had some extra time, so visted Lake Hume and the weir, which were very impressive. Then called in at Bonagilla Migrant Museum, on a whim, and surprisingly found it absolutely fascinating. Plus there were hundreds of kangaroos on the grounds. We came away from Bonagilla with a new appreciation of Australia's post war migrants. A moving experience for us.V
