Cala Ratjada was a lovely little harbour town that can be explored by foot in a day. There is plenty of trips and excursions to do from the harbour and the bus was easy to use to get to other towns.
Plenty of restaurants along the harbour front and bars. Area feels safe to walk around at night.

You can access fewer interest points from here (at least by bus) than from the west coast. Still well connected by buses to get to important points such as Cuevas del Drach (dragon caves) -not to be missed in the south (Porto Cristo) or Rafael Nadal museum in Manacor, or Alcudia in the north. Plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, markets nearby and some minor beaches. Less crowded than the big resorts on the west coast. I heard more talking in german here than on the west coast (though speaking English you won't have a problem here). Quieter area than the big resorts, but still a decent nightlife in October here. Very safe, I liked it here.

Very touristic place, with loads of Germans and English tourists. We were looking mostly for local experiences, so we only stayed here for one night which was just enough. The food prices were quite high, to be expected when this area is so popular. Most resaturants catered for what the tourists were looking for and not as much local traditional food. The beach isn't too clean, it is filled with plastic trash, yet everyone seemed to be bothered only with the seaweed, which is entirely natural.

This charming seaside town is touristic, but not too crowded even at peak season. Though it's across the island from the airport you can easily get there using the shuttles that leave frequently at all hours, but have your hotel reserve in advance. The beaches and walking paths are lovely, and there are many shops and restaurants. Do not plan on changing currencies there. Money exchanges are almost nonexistent and charge 30% commission. We stayed 4 days, but a week would've been ok.

Cala Ratjada is tourist spot with everything you need especially for families.
People are extremely friendly so you feel that you're welcome. Prices are normal, not the cheapest, not too expensive but definitely you get your moneys worth.
From local cuisine, to some serious barbecue, you can find it all.
The location of this hotel is phenomenal. You literally can see the sea and mountains from the lounge area, the spa, the dining area. The food was great at both breakfast and dinner, and there was a lovely pool bar which provided a full menu from 10-6. The rooms were spacious, and kept very clean. a beautiful walk from the hotel into the nearest town which was about 25 minutes away. Staff were very friendly and yes spoke more German than English, but were more than capable of asking what you needed.
Good location, close to Cala Gat beach and just a short walk to the harbour. The surroundings are pretty quiet and calm. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods: sandwiches, sweet pastries, eggs, bacon, cereal and yoghurt. The vibe around the hotel was relaxed and comfortable. The pool area is small but nice to cool off in. I also enjoyed that our room had a balcony (although shared with neighbours, so it offered no privacy but a good place to hang wet swimsuits).
We stood at the hotel for 3 nights. It was very nice and clean, the staff was super friendly. The pool was nice and they have vast possibilities to be active. It's close to a beach and the next bigger city Capdepera is only a few minutes away by car.
Though the room was a bit outdated. The matresses moved very easily and the AC didn't really cool down the room.
Breakfast was good, they have a huge variety of everything, although it was a bit hectic
Location amazing minutes walk away from beautiful Mol Beach. Sinbad is across from Na forana hotel where your breakfast is served and a huge array of choices food from fruits yogurt cereals to salmon breads meats cheeses pancakes churros pastries and array of hot foods and cold drinks all restocked quickly with breakfast chef available, sat outside with the most stunning views of the sun and sea. Special Thanks to Alfonso for your help from Wilma
The staff friendliness both in hotel and restaurant , the food - the chef ‘s pride in the dishes made and the service of the dinner ladies . Very clean and inviting hotel . The guy at the pool was friendly and prepared lovely cocktails .
Lana at reception went the extra mile to provide us with a kettle for the room when required . All other reception staff very helpful and friendly too ! The location was really good , close to beach / centre .
We spent 4 nights with half-board in mid-October:
The hotel looks nice, clean and modern. Also the room with a side seaview.
Very nice location (for us) close to a very nice beach and Cala Ratjada town.
Very nice and spacious pool area.
Good food, although the selection is smaller than what we got in a previous 4star in Mallorca for similar price. Also the desserts weren't that good.
Very good price in the off-season.
everything was perfect. location is in the centre of cala ratjada. everything is around the hotel. the staff was so helpful especially the German lady in the reception, who gave us wonderful tips and recommendations which helped us alot during our stay. price was absolutely fair. highly recommend to book there again.
Staff were very kind and room was clean. i felt private and quiet. we had a garden view and the garden was very cute. hotel was close to the beach and the stores. it was very convenient.
I really enjoyed their breakfast. food and staff were great and of course the garden view as well.
Beautiful hotel room with an amazing view over the port right in the center of this beautiful little beach town! We traveled all over the island and this was probably my most favorite place because of Cala Agulla! I also loved the mostly german channels on the TV. Nice staff!! Thanks!
Great value for money - breakfast was great the pool area was beautiful with 2 pools (for families and adults only). The hotel offered daily activities like hiking, water aerobics, mini golf, yoga and pilates. The rooms (and hotel) were super clean and beds comfortable.
The food in the restaurant was great. We only had the breakfast in our rate, but decided to also have dinner in the hotel restaurant every night because the quality of the food was so good. The hotel is managed by very nice and competent personnel.
location you see the sea always ! staff was great ! yoga and classes and a hike !! music every night !! the recreation was awesome from Natalie …. music was awesome breakfast was very good dinning outside !!! walking to town is east !!
Everything is very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and is what you would expect for a 4 star. I’d say this hotel is on the upper side of a 4 star.
