Best breakfast! Fresh cut fruit in my fresh squeezed orange juice, the best tortilla I may have ever had. This place was the 1st place you run into when you reach Espinal. Sadly we did not have revs at the only restaurant in town, and the bar had bad bar food.
Hotel Rural Loizu is set in Burguete, 28 mi from Pamplona and the nearest airport, and just 12 mi from the beautiful Irati Forest. All rooms offer international channels on a flat-screen satellite TV....

Very few hotel options so make reservations early.
Very few hotel options so make reservations early. No A/C in hotel but it cools off every evening and we opened windows after sunset and room cooled quickly. If you sleep hot like us ask for a sheet. Enjoyed dinner we had the daily menu and enjoyed all great options it was 3 courses for 22 euros each. Also make reservations.
Enjoy!

Roncesvalles is very small, but it is in a beautiful area. The location was perfect for a spending a relaxing and restful afternoon and evening, prior to walking the next stage of the Camino Francais.

This hotel in an old monastery is wonderful - all modern inside but tastefully done with lovely lighting - stone floors in the reception- very accurate photos from the pictures I had the feeling it was very rural but in fact was on a main road and on a hairpin bend but despite that I didn’t hear much traffic It’s spotlessly clean and the surrounding area is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend

Don't rush through Roncesvalles.
Don't rush through Roncesvalles. There is quite a lot to see & do. There is a tour in Spanish of the Museum. It is nice to spend some time in the Iglesia without the crowds at Pilgrim Mass. Charlamane's Silo is fascinating.
The building is of 16th/17th century origin but has been beautifully restored and modernised in recent years. All that aside, for a weary traveller it was most welcome. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating - everyone of them I had contact with was understanding and tried their very best to help a non Spanish speaker even to the point of assistance beyond what one would find in a home language hotel. I highly commend this establishment and its friendly staff.
In one word: amazing. If i could, i would rate this hotel 100 and above. The staff was nice and helpful, and the decoration of the lobby was beautiful and made the atmosphere pleasant.
The room was clean, convenient and has all what you need.
I think it's one of the best hotels i have been through booking, taking in to account the price that we paid.
The room was large, modern and clean with very interesting architecture. The bed was very comfortable and linens were wonderfully soft. We had a truly amazing dinner in the lovely on-site restaurant. Staff were accommodating, professional and very welcoming. The common parts of the hotel were spectacular. I look forward to having a reason to return!!
Hosteria Sabina is very good. It serves good meals for a very reasonable price. The rooms have good television and Wifi. Many pilgrims start the Spanish Road here. In Roncesvalles you may still experience the old "Camino de Santiago", much more than later on during your long walk! (Buses almost daily from Pamplona).
There are not many choices at Roncevalles but the Posada was a good compromise for price vs comfort. The rooms were fine and welcoming after the walk from St Jean. Slept well. There was another hotel that looked excellent but was more expensive and in any case full. Our luggage was delivered to outside our doors.
The property was beautiful. We are dinner in the restaurant and also breakfast the next day. It was perfect for our group of 3 people. It has a nice little kitchen that was lovely but we did not need since we were there for only one night!
Much more intimate setting than the big hotel in town. The restaurant was handy for dinner and breakfast. Prices fixe dinner good value as it came with wine. Good amenities, lots of towels!
This hotel is a mixture of old and quaint on the outside and in dining areas, and modern in the bedrooms. It was a perfect stay for us after coming off of a hard day of hiking the Camino.
On my way from Belgium to Spain I had a stop over here. The hotel was perfect. The room was big and clean. There was a nice and calm atosphere. Breakfast was good bit nothing special.
great restaurant and bar in the hotel. the waiter was so rigid and rude it sort of ruins the beauty of it all. we just laughed but they need to be more hospitable.
