Hotel Manoir is my favorite type of European hotel, an old villa that has been renovated enough to be comfortable while still retaining its charm with decor to match. The corner room was lovely, with nice airflow through both windows and a view of the rooftops and vineyards beyond. The room was quite spacious, with nice cozy lighting, a table and chairs and a desk as well. The bathroom was also a decent size. I had requested a room with one double bed, and while this was no longer available on arrival ( I had booked last minute) the front desk was happy to accomodate my request for a bathtub instead. The tub was large with a nice window as well. There are self service drinks available for a very affordable fee near the front desk. While I did not participate in the breakfast, it looked amazing and the breakfast room itself is very charming. Overall it was the perfect little weekend escape and I would definitely return.

Beautiful village but parts of it looks like it's been...
Beautiful village but parts of it looks like it's been abandoned and that people in social housing has moved in. Not as clean as other similar villages.
Central square with the Hotel de Ville and two restaurants is very nice. The 5-star hotel on the square is stunning.
We relocated from the US to France in December and needed short-term accommodation for a few weeks. The apartment is located close to downtown Barr and was perfect for our needs! It's clean, spacious, well equipped with everything you may need, and has a beautiful 360 degree view of the vineyards! We loved the wood burning fireplace! The unit also has a washer and dryer. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They even decorated for the holidays, which made the apartment feel festive and cozy.
It was a lovely stay in a really charming house, host was very helpful and despite language barrier we could communicate really well. There is no access to the kitchen but Martine is happy to help with warming up food or give utensils and plates. All in all, we’re really happy we could stay in this lovely house.
This is a fantastic hotel! Location in the center of Barr is great ... Barr is beautiful, btw. The parking facilities are excellent! Restaurant is very good, and the staff was super professional, friendly and helpful. The Spa & Pool areas in the old cellars are very charming. The rooms are very very nice!
The location was perfect. The apartment is located in the middle of Barr, surrounded by the beautiful old building structures, typical for the region.
The apartment it self was easily accessible and comfortable.
All in all a great place to stay.
The house is a good size, clean and very well equipped. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
Barr is a good starting point for either walking/hiking in the Voges or exploring all of Alsace and the wine route.
Nice hotel in a good location. Parking is very easy, and so was check in. The room was clean and the wifi was good. Some nice restaurants and boulangeries in easy walking distance. Very cute town.
Everything was very easy. Barr is a good base to set off in different directions for the day, Strasbourg, Colmar, Black Forest. Restaurants and supermarket walking distance from the house.
The host was very nice/friendly. The breakfirst was delicius, and the room was very nice and clean. Barr is also a very nice town. We would very much recomend Hotel le Manoir
