We love Weston-super-Mare. We have been a few times now.
We love Weston-super-Mare. We have been a few times now. The beach is my favourite that I have ever been too. It is incredibly clean and big. Amazing walk along the promenade and the town centre shopping, especially the sovereign shopping centre is Great. We have two small children so the pier and what used to be Funland was brilliant, but we are so gutted that it is no longer there. Hotel requires refurbishment. Rooms were dull. On entering the hotel, there was a foul smell near the lift. No bathroom washbasin mixture is available. Closet ceiling light was not working. I am 71 and came from Bristol. Sunday school outings always went to Weston. My parents and brother all ended up living at Carlton Mansions next door to the Grand Atlantic. I love returning to Weston and spending time on the beach.Jane - 8.0Scored 8.0

Weston super Mare is an old fashioned seaside resort trying hard to keep itself attractive. The renovated pier has offers amusements and cafes and the derelict old pier adds character. There is a sandy beach but at low tide there is a lot of mud between that and the sea. The marine pool is interesting. There is pleasant walking on the nearby headlands Worlebury to the north and Brean Down, a short drive to the south. There are plenty of places to eat - we went to a great Italian place called Il Michelangelo.SusanUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Great. This has to be possibly the best family seaside holiday destination . So many other seaside resorts have sadly gone downhill ,but not so Weston the beach and promenade are a real credit to the local council, its services and employees. Weston super mare has everything a family could want for a great holiday experience.AAnonymous

Was surprised to see an operating ferris wheel on the street at the pier and went on it. The hotel is comfortable - I was seemingly upgraded to a very large room on the top floor south facing the beach, which was wonderful on arrival with the sun streaming in. Has a nice bed, double entry and wing chairs for sitting. Has an elevator. Good internet. Breakfast was in a new addition atrium and was generous continental - good coffee. Very nice.

Whilst the hotel was not on the seafront, it was within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and The Playhouse.

I had a great night's sleep in the kingsized bed. The bathroom is modern and clean, and the shower is hot and powerful. We were extremely comfortable, and can definitely recommend this hotel. It's in a great location, as it's only a short walk away from the town and the seafront.
