The room was well equipped and adequate for what we wanted. Beds were comfortable also.
We didnt have breakfast as it was a last minute booking.

It is a super convenient location but 305 for room only is expensive. The hotel is nice and clean but basic. I could not justify 17e pp for breakfast on top.of that rate
This central Dublin hotel is situated on Harcourt St. off the south west corner of St. Stephen’s Green in Dublin City Centre. All major attractions are within walking distance of the hotel.

We used it mainly as base to visit Dublin (it's 20-30 minutes by tram) but spent some time walking down the harbour, it's quite beautiful and you can see people learning sailing. There's some museums and monuments worth visiting (sadly we didn't have enough time), and good places to eat. Make sure you try the fish & chips by the waterside. We were actually there for their local St. Pat's parade and it was such a great time!

Dun laoghaire is a special place to me.
Dun laoghaire is a special place to me. My gran swam almost every day in sandy cove. I've raced ironman 70.3 also from sandy cove. And the pier is always a place of memories as my aunt also lived nearby. I learned to sail in the harbour on visits as a kid. The town has a lively lovely coastal vibe.

Hotels offers a wonderful Breakfast for 15 euros and standard Pub menu for dinner usually with a daily special. The Pub was first rate and has plenty of beverages to select from, I would suggest a pint of Guiness. Parking is adequate although a little tight for larger sedans. The rooms are very well kept and bathrooms are supplied well. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I plan to use this Hotel for future visits to the Dublin area.

It is a beautiful hotel in a lovely area.
It is a beautiful hotel in a lovely area. We had no view, so we couldn't really enjoy it. We were there for such a short time it was wasted on us. The room had a smell like sewer, but the beds were comfortable. The reservations desk seemed a little clueless.
The breakfast was really expensive, so we couldn't eat there and when i got recommendations for restaurants by the water, the reservationist lady only recommended one restaurant, Hardies, which was affiliated with the hotel. It was hard to get into and there were at least two other restaurants we could go to.

Lovely harbor town!
Lovely harbor town! Good public transport to/from, many restaurants and cafes, great views. We enjoyed walking along the harbor piers. We had great food at The Vanilla Pod, Gourmet Cafe, and Sushida! We used the DART to travel to Bray one day, went into Dublin and up to Howth other days. Wish we could have stayed longer!

My main issue is lack of good signposting for electric charge points for cars. The 2 spaces were I occupied by non electric cars. Hotel needs to do more to ensure Thai does not happen as it seriously impacted my onward journey not being able to charge my car overnight.
Stayed two nights at Claremont House last week. Ideally located near DART and easy access to Dublin city centre. Short walk to beautiful Dun Laoghaire and Sandycove. Daniel, owner of Claremont, has his own restaurant close by called "Daniels" - what a gem! It's small and cozy but the food produced is all fresh and mouthwatering and something you would expect from a Michelin restaurant - can't recommend it highly enough!!
If you want to experience what Ireland once was, book a night in this mini period house. I liked it very much. The room has a character of bygone times. The owners keep everything clean and tidy. With a map I found it without any difficulty. It was only a short 4 minute walk from Glenageary Dart Station. I chose traditional breakfast which was filling and very tasty. I'm grateful for this lovely experience.
The owners are very kind, they also run a restaurant nearby. The breakfast is delicious and the house is clean and full of historic charm. Finally, Claremont House Is located in a lovely position, near the sea and Dun Laoghaire. Also, it is only 20-30 minutes by train from Dublin. I recommend it!
The leisure centre was surprisingly good. Pool and dressing rooms clean, modern and spacious. Very well equipped gym.
Family room excellent lay out and very spacious. Fabulous shower with great water pressure.
Lovely southside location, convenient to Dun Laoghaire and Killiney.
The best thing is the location. Dun Laoghaire is beautiful, 1/2 hour from Dublin downtown via DART, and many amenable places to eat. It's also a quiet and relaxed neighborhood. The bedroom was clean. It offers an electric kettle and oreo cookies.
Lovely hotel. It should be 4 star in my opinion. Free parking, very clean, lovely extras in the room like toothbrush, toothpaste, hot water bottle, beach bag, coffee machine, shower gel+hand lotion. It was a lovely hotel
The only thing this property has going for it is location. It is convenient to the rail station into Dublin. Otherwise, it is not worth staying here and I suspect there are other options in the area, equally convenient.
Very nice place, convenient location, easy to get there. A bit further from Dun Laoghaire than would be ideal, but not a problem anyway. Only a 20 minute walk. Comfortable enough, easy parking. Quiet and peaceful.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and is in the center of the waterfront. The grounds on a sunny day are delightful! It's an easy walk to everywhere.
The property is in a great location, close to central Dun Laoghaire town, walk to the Dart/train station and the lovely harbour area. Within walking distance of great cafes and restaurants.
Great Location to get in and out of Dublin. Good place to unwind amd slow down.
The gym was lovely. spa and pool were great amenities.
Continental breakfast was up to par.
Very helpful staff with lots of information given about the area. Fabulous room with a great view. Extremely comfortable bed. We will be back next time we are in Ireland.
Excellent location, huge hotel, big room ( our room was renovated including bathroom) and clean. So no complaints. Swimming pool and SPA centre. Staff were friendly.
The location is unmatched with the views across Dublin Bay, especially from the restaurant Olivetto. The hotel is 5 mins walk from Dun Laoighaire Dart Station.
