The main square was a pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by. There are plenty of decent shops, but lacking a good independent pasticceria. You can still buy pastries from cafes and one of the many supermarkets. You won't be stuck for a decent pizzeria as there are several. Il Grottino and Spano's do a good take away as well as eating in. You can eat well in one of the many spaghetteria. People are mainly friendly and helpful. Driving isn't difficult. One of the best, tastiest meals we had was the street vendor near the tower: The Sunrise Street Food. You can sit outside and enjoy the view across a bay. The food is excellent! Rubbish needs to be taken to one of the recycling points (behind the police station). There's a very touristy looking restaurant overlooking the Rena Bianca beach, but it sells good gelati! Don't be put off. The Rena Bianca beach is gorgeous. The water is so clear. I will definitely be going back. Ooh yes, the highlight for my son was seeing a wild boar in town!

Public transportation, including ferry to Corsica was a good experience. Good variety of restaurants, shops, cafes.. however if visiting during "off season" be flexible as not all of the regular facilities are open. Town was friendly and people offered suggestions, and directions.which we appreciated.

I didn't find there was much to see/do, some restaurants/shops were close to the hotel. For me this was a stop over to wait out the ferry that did not sail to Corsica, my actual destination, due to the cyclone. This would not be a location I would return to, except if I was getting the ferry again..

Great little boutique hotel that was within walking distance of the port where we were to catch the ferry to Corsica very early in the morning. Though we only stayed one night you can easily stay there several nights and visit the surrounding area. Central location, close to everything the town has to offer with a great restaurant right opposite it. Highly recommended. Thank you to the staff that made our stay the best it could have been.

Very nice, clean and well equipped B&B in a calm area. The host Diego was also very nice and caring. He speaks good English and gives many helpful tips for beaches and restaurants. The breakfast was lovingly prepared, with many homemade dishes. There is the possibility to park in front of the accommodation and it is a 10 minute walk from the center. We can highly recommended the B&B and also the place Santa Teresa Gallura. :)

A great family run hotel with amazing value..the breakfast may be the best I’ve had anywhere — HUGE selection of hand made pastries and goodies, panini, eggs, hams and cheeses, juices and fruits. It was excellent. But what makes this place is the staff — manager was so sweet, letting us check in very early when we arrived exhausted from another place. Clean rooms and quiet, super value.

Our second stop was in Santa Teresa Gallura. We rented the car from Olbia and the hotel has an excellent location with a great parking lot and that made our trip more comfortable. The hotel has a beautiful view to the sea and the closest beach is at 2 minutes walk distance. The hotel has pretty good facilities, awesome staff, and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

The view from my room was incredible. So gorgeous. The view exceeded my expectations. I could sit on the balcony staring at that view for hours. Good location. We walked from the hotel to the beach and into town for dinner. Just be ready for some steep parts. Friendly staff. The pool looked nice but we didn’t have a chance to use it. Free Parking in garage.

The hotel is located near the beach in a quiet area of the town. Breakfast is wonderful, plenty of things to choose from like yoghurts, fresh fruits, bread, cheeses, eggs and hams. The staff was very friendly. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, all within walking distance of the hotel. The town is lively and there are some wonderful small shops.

This place feels very secluded. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and has everything you would expect in a hotel. It's close to restaurants and bars and close to the ferry terminal. Staff was super friendly and relaxed, helped me with my questions and allowed me to stow my luggage for a few hours. Great place, would recommend it.

Good location at a reasonable price. Relatively quiet and well equipped. I highly recommend it instead of the higher-rated locations towards the beach. Lots of good restaurants nearby. I recommend checking-out the Via d'Aosta street. Coffee machine and a small fridge in the room. Good powerful AC machine, it was needed.
