Our first time to this area and we were really taken by everything about it - the scenery is immense, the people so friendly, the food and drink very good and excellent value for money. We did 7 different experiences in our 7 days - lakes, mountain hikes, bikes, visit to Krakow (and Oscar Schindler factory), aquapark, stunning caves just over the border in Slovakia…really would recommend this areaStephenUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Bukowina is an unusually crowded Polish village near the Tatra mountains. It has great views of Slovak High Tatras, and if you like to wander, ride or drive around - you'll find some marvellous viewpoints. It's definitely not a good place if you want a peaceful stay within hotel premises. Not great for gourmet food lovers either. But if you fancy some highlander style cheese, high cholesterol, meaty diet - you might be in heaven.

Overall great location, however a bit far to main hiking trails. We were travelling 20km each day to get to Kiry and so begin our journey for the day. Apart from that no issues whatsoever. You have 2 restaurants and 2 shops just down the road, one opened till 11pm, as far as I can remember. There's also one restaurant literally 50m from the place that offers discount to the guests. We only stayed overnight after a hike through the High Tatras, the location was chosen to be next to the Thermal Pools of Termy Bokowina. It was a great addition to the trip and an absolute mustfor relaxation purposes, recommended to all hikers.JuliusLithuania

Modern, weighty, nice stile in a room, animal friendly. great view from the windows, has a nice relax area (2 hot tubs inside, 2 outside , 3 types of souna and cold water tub) Good to relax after skiing. The hotel has a children room with a playground. All entrances are modernised with codes. We had a few technical problems, but they were quickly resolved. We will definitely come again, but maybe we will choose bigger room for 3 persons.
