The location is perfect for those who come to the University of Minho. Very clean. The bed is very nice and big. Pillows and a blanket are puffy and soft. The matresses need a top matress because you can feel the metal carcass while sleeping. The breakfast needs veggies and more fruit for vegans. Fresh water is always available for free. There is a small fridge in the room. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Braga is a relatively flat city and we walked to all the main sights. Our apartment was steps away from Casa das Natas and we had breakfast there twice- excellent service and yummy food. Around the corner is Maria Alice which also had friendly servers and a different menu- delicious! We ate twice at a Típica which was unique (no spoilers) and the food was great. We spent one rainy morning walking around Braga Parque which was impressive considering how lively it was and malls near us in the US seem to be dying off. If you want spectacular viewpoints visit: Baloiço de Esporões (need a car), Bom Jesus, and Sameiro.

Braga is really beautiful, the old town is breathing some kind of old wisdom, i have difficulties to put my feelings about it in words, in the parts where i was mostly hanging out i had the idea to be part of an old movie. I was here winter 2023 and it was raining a lot and i think it was part of the peace of mind it gave me. the silence in the streets. Just outside Braga you can find Bom Jesus do Monto and that is really impressive as well, like really really. I didn't went much to restaurants or bars but you can find them plenty.

Very nice town for a two day stay.
Very nice town for a two day stay. I happened to be there on the 1ST of December and joined in the festivities of the Christmas celebration which seemed to involve the whole town.
Braga is very old and historic and it has a lot of charm for its size and I enjoyed finding what felt like secret corners of the town to enjoy.

Braga was full of fascinating history- beautiful buildings, very friendly people. It is convenient for Porto airport, lots of choice for places to eat. I would like to have seen the Roman ruins (which we didn't find..)and museums - not enough time. We took the bus to Guimaraes and enjoyed exploring there too!
A gorgeous boutique hotel in Braga city square. Each room has different decor. The rooms are bigger than what one expects to see in a European boutique hotel.
The hotel managers are very friendly and helpful. They gave us useful pointers and looked genuinely interested in our stay.
The breakfast is incredible. For just 10 euro, you can enjoy over 30 breakfast items ranging from sweets to avocado toast and eggs!!
Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The location although not central, it's very good if you plan on leaving your car at the hotel for free and then walk a little to the center and the attractions.
Free and private parking spots for the guests, but no many spots. Enough for me as it was low season.
Room was comfortable and the AC, although old, worked like a charm.
Breakfast was great too, diverse and plentiful.
The hotel is in an excellent location in the pedestrian area of Braga. It is small and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of advice on what to do and where to eat. The room had lots of light, the windows opened, the bed was comfortable. Everything was good quality.
Very nice staff, all very friendly and helpful. Always there for a little chat and help in finding, e.g. sightseeing and supermarket. Very easy check in and check out, parking place in front of hotel no problem. Good start for visiting Braga Old Town. Warm water in the shower. All very clean.
Amazing stay at Vila Gale in Braga. The personnel was very nice and kind. The breakfast was tasty and rooms spacious and quiet. The hotel is located in the center which makes it convenient to access everything around.
I would definitely go back at Vila Gale if I travel back to Braga.
The hotel is just located in the most amazing part of Braga, in my view. A short walk to endless walking trails, amazing open views and scenario of the surroundings. Nevertheless it is a short drive away from the buzzing Braga. It is a retreat after a busy working day
Excellent stay in Braga! Large room, probably the quietest room we've had in a 3 weeks road-trip in Portugal although the hotel is right in the center of the city. Kitchen available, very clean, friendly owner - simply a great stay!
A gem in Braga!!! Perfect location, close to everything. Lovely room. Common room with cakes, coffee, tea. Liliana was so sweet and helpful with great recommendations on where to eat and what to see. Can’t wait to go back.
The hotel is wonderful-design hotel, very clean and the staff is so friendly and kind! The location, breakfast and safty measures are on a very high level. I will stay at the same hotel when visit Braga again!
Beautiful view! Apartment located in the center of Braga, and it looks like it was remodeled a few years ago. Clear and easy check in process. Well equipped kitchen. Quick wifi and plenty of tv channels.
Nice location. Quiet. Very close to all amenities. The desk manager Mr. Fernando is a great guy. The best manager in the the whole of Braga and eager to help. A nice and kind man.
Valleria is a gem! Best host ever. Super nice room, exquisite breakfast and motorcycles parked just in front. In my opinion its the best place to stay when visiting Braga.
The entire hotel staff provided great service. We enjoyed the morning breakfast that was provided. We were given information about the area sites to see around the area.
In the center of old city of Braga, spacious and perfectly silent room, excellent breakfast and very dog-friendly attitude. One of the best hotels ever in our life.
Clean, reliable and very fairly costed. Incredibly friendly staff. If I ever come back to Braga this will be the hotel. Not even a question. Tremendous!
