    Beautiful spot.

Beautiful spot. Lots of great restaurants and enough year round activities for any group or family. The Eastside Grill just a short stroll from the house is fantastic. The public beach (Deep Run) is beautiful and close. The City of Canandaigua is a short drive and loaded with choices for dining, shopping, strolling and fun.

Discovered this hotel chain on our recent road trip and stayed in 2 of them because we were so impressed with the first one. Excellent quality room for the price and always so conveniently located near main highways. Such a great find!

This was one of the best vacations ever.

This was one of the best vacations ever. Canandaigua is only an hour an a half from the Niagara Falls. We were able to visit the wineries, lakes and enjoy the beauty of this great place. I wish we would have stayed longer. The people of Canandaigua are so nice and kind.

I grew up in Cdga and love how beautiful the town is especially in May! I can't wait to return again and felt sad when it was time to leave. We had wonderful lunches at Nolan's. Morning coffee at the Pier was awesome while taking boathouse pictures! We enjoyed great memories of growing up in the "Chosen Spot". Cdga Lake will always hold a special place in our 💕. It is no wonder why people flock to Cdga for vacation.

Everywhere we went was within 3 miles.

Everywhere we went was within 3 miles. Local residents were very nice and helpful. Ate at restaurants that were locally owned on recommendations from locals. Food was all delicious. Staff at the Holiday Inn Express were so welcoming. We ate at Nolan's for a birthday dinner. Breakfast was at Ray's and the complimentary breakfast at the hotel. Had drinks and pub food at Dobbler's. Had ice cream at Cheshire Creamery.

I was in Canandaigua to quarantine for two weeks before I could spend time with my grandsons. I especially liked food from Flavors, an Indian restaurant, and pizza and calzones from Faro's pizza. The Ontario Pathways trail was an excellent option to get a daily walk in - especially the Pooh trail, which had numerous quotes from Winnie the Pooh nailed to trees along the trail. The steak was disappointing at the Chop house - it was tasty, but too fatty and gristly. I was impressed with Instant Oil Change - they had me in and out in ten minutes or so (my idiot light came on letting me know I needed an oil change). All in all, a good trip.

The room was beautiful and the property was gorgeous and a good size. The walk in shower was large and the body products in the room were luxurious. The room itself was very clean with a great view of the lake and canal from the balcony. The stretching and meditation classes that were included were great, and the teacher was lovely. The complimentary hot cocoa and wine in the lobby were a nice touch, and we enjoyed the fit pits in the evening. The ambiance of the whole place was top notch.

Delicious homemade breakfast made with local foods- menu changed daily, was very hearty and a great start to the day. Fun old Victorian home with extra amenities provided: communal refrigerator, games, DVDs, hot/cold water dispenser, beautiful grounds with hammocks and sitting areas (we unfortunately had rainy weather during our stay). Our host was often available on site to answer our questions or give us tips on local attractions.

Check in and out was friendly and efficient. Very surprised with how open and inviting front lobby was. Room and hotel very clean and appears decor was new or recently updated. Good location for us between Finger Lakes and Rochester New York, For those who want fast food variety there is a Taco Bell, KFC and Dunkin Donuts just out front door. Would definitely stay again and recommend this property.

The location was great and I was able to take an invigorating walk taking in the northern shore of Canandaigua Lake and some of the lagoons that are adjacent to it. It was easy to find. It was great to have a Wegman's acoross the street. Some of the staff members were responsive and kind.

The bed and breakfast was perfectly adorable and lovely. Room was comfortable, clean, and super cute! Breakfast was served at 8 am in a nice parlor with room to sit inside or on the porch and the host was able to accommodate my vegan guest as well. Communication with the host was excellent.

I loved my corner, ground floor room, located in the back of the hotel. It looked out onto a picturesque pond with lots of wildlife. The ambiance was one of silence, punctuated with the singing of birds. This setting allowed me to overlook the mostly negatives of the hotel.

beautiful old house with lots of charm inside and outside. The light around the house at night was a nice addition. Refrigerator with sodas and water made easy to snack on something and drinks were cool in a hot weather. liked the strong light in the bathroom.

If you want a 5 minute walk to the CMAC concert venue then this is the place to stay. Unless….you need a light in your bedroom, a comfortable bed. This is not a hotel. It is literally an old dorm.
