I enjoyed the Lake experience. I thought it was very clean. Age group varied - from young children to the elderly. I was able to park the car for the 3 days I was there and walk where I needed to go.

It's beauty and all the available water related activities that were easy to book. The staffs at the restaurants were friendly and accommodating. Prices were generally moderate though boat rentals for couples were exorbitant. The Village was very crowded and parking was difficult. Lake George is clean and fun to swim in as well as kayak, canoe, etc. Plenty of restaurants and shopping near by. Not far from Saratoga Horse Racing. Boat rides available; our favorite is the Minnie Ha-Ha

My wife and I have been visiting LG since the late 60's...
My wife and I have been visiting LG since the late 60's before we were married, and even many years prior to that with our families. The village and surrounding area has changed or evolved through the years with the type of stores available and the upgrades to the amenities offered by the village such as a visitor's center with public rest rooms in the center of town. It's where we like to go just to relax and unwind.

Everything is in walking distance, no matter where your staying. The village has so many things to do. Ferry rides, mini golf, arcades, restaraunts, shops, swimming and more. There is a shuttle bus every few minutes if your not a walker. Fun place for family's , elderly , and couples.DianeUnited States
