This place exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the room temperature was easy to control, the parking was convenient, the staff was very nice, and the beach was close. We came to go razor clamming and I think the biggest surprise and extra bonus of this model was that it had a cleaning station for this purpose, which was awesome.

Bill, the owner is great. Always makes you feel like you're at a home away from home. Loved the vibe of the room. Totally retro, and we loved it.

There were great places to eat and shop. Flying kites on the beach is very relaxing. We ate at Chico's Pizza. Love the then crust on their pizzas. We always eat there at least once while in town. Drop Anchor was recommended by the locals and it did not disappoint. The oyster shooters were wonderful! Had the prawns and lobster tail and it was delicious. (Not a puny lobster tail either!)

Really, we could have seen the beach and the town's main drag in two days, rather than the three we planned. Families with little kids would enjoy the wide stretch of beach, but as an older couple, we'll only book two nights in the future. Don't miss Marsh's Free Museum, the quirkiest souvenir shop ever! Plenty of good dining options.

I have been coming to Long Beach since I was five years old and I am now 76. It has been a place of memories of such great fun and there are so many other wonderful places to visit that are not that far from LB. We also like to travel over the bridge to Astoria, Or.
First visit to Long Beach. Mermaid Inn was a perfect location. Very clean, comfy beds, great frig/freezer (for those frozen cranberries we HAD to bring back), great staff (?owners). Can’t say enough! (Wish we had caught you in the morning to book our next stay….we’ll just have to do it on line!)
THANK YOU!!!
It’s very modern and up to date. Clean and extremely comfortable. It’s pet friendly so there were fur babies everywhere to visit with & will come in handy for future visits with out fur babies. The ambiance, lighting and comfort overall of the room was perfect! My favorite hotel stay by far!
We loved it! Great location, we could walk everywhere! We were able to bring our 90 lb Husky mix and they were very accommodating. The breakfast pastries were fresh and delicious. We loved being able to use the pool for the nearby Adrift hotel!! Will definitely stay again.
We've stayed at the Adrift Hotel for years. It's one of our favorite places to visit with its proximity to the ocean, a good restaurant with a view, and an overall positive vibe. They have several properties in the area, and all remain good options.
We love smaller hotels with character. So this one fit the bill. Walking distance to ice-cream shop, beach and eating places. Staff at the desk were friendly. We would stay here again. The price is reasonable compared elsewhere in town.
Nice quiet location. Not far from City of Long Beach itself. Easy access to the beach. Cove restaurant close by. Good food, excellent clam chowder. Corral Drive In is also across the street for great burgers.
Comfortable bed and plush cushy pillows, quiet, pet friendly, fresh cookies before bed and good shower with absorbent towels. Also enjoyed the variety of items available at the free breakfast
Oceanfront property with decks overlooking the dunes and beach. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast bar offered options such as biscuits & gravy and sausages.
Nice remodel of the old Rodeway Inn. Great location for Long Beach. Very clean rooms and pet friendly. Other than our neighbors waking us up at 3:00 am it was good
