Palacio de los Duques Gran Meliá - The Leading Hotels of the World is located 300 metres from Madrid's Royal Palace, the Royal Theatre and the Cathedral. Breakfast was amazing, room extremely comfortable i would say one of the most comfortable beds i have slept in at a hotel. Location was central walking distance from many of the sites and shopping close by. Great restaurants surrounding. Hotel restaurants were also very good.

Hotel Meninas - Boutique Operal is in an elegant 19th-century building in central Madrid, 100 metres from Madrid’s Opera Metro Station. It offers free entry to the Opera Hotel’s gym, 100 metres away. Not a big but comfortable room (lived in a real single) in "like new" condition. provide a refrigerator, safe and all bath stuff (including tooth paste/brush). Very good location. All famos places within walking distance. Very recommended. I will consider it on my next trip.

Specially Maria, who is responsible for the breakfast and made sure there would be vegan options everyday.
