The centrally located Heathmount Hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Inverness Castle, and offers Scottish whisky, Illy coffee and freshly mixed cocktails in its 2 contrasting bars. The location was amazing and the staff was so welcoming. We even could get dinner at the Hotel as we‘ve arrived quite late. The parking space in front of the hotel was very convenient, so we could start our exploration straight away.

In the heart of historic Inverness, just 2 minutes’ walk from the castle and the riverside, the Redcliffe Hotel offers free parking on site. Great location, walking distance to the main shopping street area in town. Could see the Inverness Castle from the window in our room. The hotel restaurant was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Opposite Inverness Castle, Best Western Palace Hotel & Spa is located on the banks of the River Ness. Excellent location, comfortable and large room. Excellent gym and pool. Lots of varieties for breakfast. There is also a fan for us which is excellent during summer month.
