Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam is a unique hotel in Amsterdam at the IJ river, at the former location where ships left for Jakarta. The room was spacious and well designed. Room was equipped with all things needed. We used swimming pool and sauna in the hotel, it was excellent. Breakfast was great, in kind of french-english buffet style, we loved it. I'd like to go there again.

Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam Centre East is situated in the Zeeburg district in Amsterdam, a 22-minute drive from Schiphol Airport. Rijksmuseum, Museum district and Leidseplein are a tram ride away. The location was perfect to access the train. The breakfast was fabulous.

Offering impressive views, Mövenpick Hotel is located on the edge of the River IJ, opposite the Muziekgebouw Bimhuis tram stop. This luxurious hotel boasts a wellness centre and gym. Te view ( to the river and also to the city). The staff at the reception were really kind.

This houseboat experience was truly unique. Very accommodating and friendly hosts. Comfortable and relaxing room with a unique/modern style. Quiet neighbourhood with nearby transport/use of bikes available to get to the city. A fantastic weekend trip!

You get to have your own separate apartment so to say, the old Captains area. Upon entry you find the cozy living area with couch, two chairs and a vintage record player. Downstairs is the kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and enough utensils etc. Friendly little details provided by the hosts give it a very personal feel. the bedroom is a comfy bed for two and the window just above water level as well as the skylight with option cover makes for the true ship feeling. In the summer there is a small balcony with hammock upstairs. And the view of the harbor is very calming for us at least. The bathroom has a nice modern shower, the floor is such that it can be dried easily with the sweeper..All products were provided.
