The house was very clean and has a beautyfull view over Funchal, mountains and sea. Everthing you need was in the house. The owner was very nice. We had a warm welkom. We get a bottle of Madeira wine, Madeira cake and coffe, thee. Overal l everthing was perfect.

I spent 12 unforgettable days in this apartment. The apartment is on the first floor of a typical Maderian house, perched in a forest of banana trees! The location was great, away from the noise of the road. Every morning, the birds and chickens woke us up singing. The view from the windows was breathtaking : we could see the sun rising from one window, and setting from the other window!! Everything in this apartment has been thought out to be comfortable, the layout is perfect and the equipment is of good quality. We had everything we could dream of: a cutting board, an oven, a washing machine with several laundry pods! And even a private parking space! On arrival, the apartment was very clean, and we received very clear check-in instructions from our host, Jacqueline. Jacqueline did her best over 12 days to make our stay a perfect one. We even received several bottles of homemade wine as gifts! Communication was very easy and pleasant, Jacqueline was very available and we regret not having the chance to meet her in person, our respective agendas not allowing this meeting. If I ever get the chance to come back to Madeira, I'll come back here with my eyes closed. Many thanks to Jacqueline for her hospitality. I'll forever remember this trip.

Overall the house was spacious and comfortable with such good touch in the decor Easy to access and very well equipped.

The apartment is modern, spacious and comfortable. I was travelling with a friend, so it was wonderful to have 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything we needed was at hand. A beautiful sunrise seen from my bedroom was a bonus:)
