We had a great 14day stay there and loved it. It’s close to the city Centre in Funchal, which is very practical. The hosts are also super nice and always available if needed! Definitely recommend!

Moradia Vista Atlântico’s owners were probably one of the most hospitable people ever. Their place is clean, comfortable and simply amazing. Ending the night in their little spa was the perfect way to relax after a long day. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Madeira, I highly recommend it. Thank you again for everything!!

Το Funchal House έχει θέα στην πόλη και παρέχει βεράντα και καφετιέρα. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Praia do Almirante Reis είναι περίπου 2,3 χλμ μακριά. The checkin was simple. The hosts were easy to communicate with through WhatsApp and were very responsive with any questions we had. The flat was extremely clean and welcoming. There was a kind gift basket on the table when we came in. The views are beautiful. Gabriella and her husband have thought of every little detail. A washing machine, coffee and tea maker, a plug adapter for the electric, instructions for appliances etc. If I needed something, there it was. It was the perfect home whilst we were in Madeira and a comfortable place to come back to at the end of each busy day. The only thing to consider is there are about 30ish steps down from the street. The hosts were more than willing to help with luggage if need be. When we come back to Madeira, we would definitely want to stay again at Funchal House.

What a beautiful house - high up in the hills with beautiful views of Funchal from each balcony. The house is very spacious, and the addition of a private pool and BBQ area makes it that bit more special. It was clean and tidy when we arrived. There is a bus stop right outside (15-20 min bus ride to centre of Funchal or 10 min taxi). The games room downstairs made the holiday for my younger brothers (age 13 and 14), plus the PS4 in the living room. The whole home has been thought out really well and is perfect for a family. We loved staying here and had a wonderful holiday. You won’t regret booking.

We enjoyed our stay in this house very much. The accommodation is spacious, quiet, and adequately equipped (including a washing machine and a dryer). The weekly bus pass (22 euros) is worth it if you plan to stay on the island without renting a car like us. The bus stop is right next to the house, it takes about 20 min to get to the center. The ride itself is a real treat. The house is located high above the town, so it is cooler there, which can be a problem for some in winter, as there is no standard heating in the house - only 2 direct heaters. On the other hand, in summer this is certainly desirable. Communication with the owner was above standard from the start, she responds without delay and tries to make your stay as good as possible. This house is really worth it. We would be happy to return if we visit Madeira again.

Has also a very nice sofa and a large TV screen. The jacuzzi is also a nice touch, and overall we felt some parts of the house were in very good condition, however some other parts were a bit older and could be improved.

Good-natured host, a beautiful villa equipped with everything you need for a wonderful holiday! This is truly the place where you want to return again and again!
