Well located in the centre of Funchal, Barceló Funchal Oldtown provides air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a fitness centre. This is one of the best hotels that we've ever been to. The hotel staff was super friendly to us and other guests, the location is amazing (exactly in the old town next to cozy restaurants and the promenade), the room was spacious and stylish, the breakfast was excellent, and the pool and the bar at the rooftop were also really pleasant. I only have nice things to say about the Barcelo hotel! Tip: If you're looking for a quick yet inexpensive way to get from the airport to the hotel, consider a shuttle bus that's right next to the exit from the airport. As of Oct 2023, it's just 5 euro per person (or 8 euro for a return trip), and it'll take you to a bus stop (number 6) that's really close to the Barcelo hotel. Note that they only accept cash in the bus.

TURIM Santa Maria Hotel sijaitsee ihanteellisella paikalla Funchalissa. Majoituspaikassa on ilmastoidut huoneet, ulkouima-allas, ilmainen WiFi ja lounge. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Heidän kauttaan onnistui mm. auton vuokraaminen helposti. Hotellin sijainti oli erinomainen, hotellissa oli siistiä ja rauhallista. Huone oli myös siisti, hyvänkokoinen ja mukavalla näköalalla.

Kauniilla Madeiran saarella sijaitseva Pestana CR7 Funchal on Pestana Hotelsin ja maailmankuulun jalkapalloilijan Cristiano Ronaldon yhteisomistuksessa. My stay at CR7 was absolutely amazing! The location is unbeatable, with a stunning sea view, even with cruise liners in sight. The rooms were spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided complimentary drinks and assisted with everything from car rentals to parking. The culinary experience was outstanding – freshly made omelets and eggs showcased the chef's skill, and the overall freshness and taste were exceptional. I highly recommend CR7 for a perfect blend of luxury, breathtaking views, and top-notch service. It made my time in Funchal truly unforgettable!

Hotel Madeira is a 3-star hotel in Funchal's city centre, close to shops and restaurants. It offers free WiFi access. Each room has a private bathroom with walk-in shower and hairdryer. Erittäin hyvä sijainti Funchal-kaupunkilomalle. Ei pakollista bussimatkailua hotellialueen ja keskustan välillä. Kauppakeskus La Vie aivan vieressä. Hiljainen huone, ei liikenteen melua. Ilmastointi toimi, molemmissa huoneissa oma jäähdytys. Kattava normi-aamiainen. Kattoterassin baarin hinnat kohtuulliset, uima-allas riittävä pieneen vilvoitteluun. Voimme suositella.

Tämä hyvin suunniteltu Funchalin lahdelle avautuva hotelli sijaitsee Parque Santa Catarina -puiston alueella. I really enjoyed chilling music at breakfast that was available until 11 and I find it particularly important. Beautiful view from the window as well as close to the old town.
