Located next to the Funk Zone in Santa Barbara, the Hotel Californian is just steps from the beach and features an outdoor pool. We only stayed one night, and wish it could have been a week. A stunning hotel with great facilities and helpful staff. Hopefully will return soon.

This contemporary hotel is just 5 minutes’ walk to Stearns Wharf and the Santa Barbara beachfront. Free Wi-Fi is provided. All rooms include plush bathrobes in the en suite European-style bathrooms. Totally exceeded our expectations, perfect and comfortable place. We loved it! Close walk yo the beach, next door to one of our favorite restaurants.It changed our entire evening when we thought it wasn't gona be good cuss we had book somewhere else and it was terrible, thanks for everything!

Boasting a year-round outdoor pool, Moxy Santa Barbara offers rooms with free WiFi in Santa Barbara, 200 metres from Amtrak Station Santa Barbara, free coffee is available in the morning and pink... The hotel was in a good location - just a short walk to the seafront and downtown Santa Barbara. The hotel is really quite quirky - with some lovely decoration and a funky feel. Liked the shared space downstairs in reception where there was an honesty bar and where a simple breakfast was served (tea, coffee, juice, some fruit, bagels and pastries). We hadnt expected this so was a nice extra. There was also a big fridge and freezer where guests could keep own items as there was nothing in the room for this. There was a really nice outside area with comfy seating, a clean pool, table tennis table. The room itself was comfy and my son (12) loved sleeping in the murphy bed which pulled down over the main double bed. Had a really nice welcome and the offer of a complimentary drink on arrival from a very lovely member of staff/owner (Derek?)

Situated in Santa Barbara, 400 metres from West Beach, ITH Santa Barbara Beach Hostel features accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The location is great. Close to the train station, close to the beach and downtown. The Hostel is by the river, if you are a morning person like me, you would love having your coffee by the river or maybe some Yoga. The beds are very comfortable, the room is spacious, bathrooms are clean and of a good standard. Self-made chocolate chip pancakes are great for breakfast. The patio by the river is a bonus, you can rarely see a patio like this at a hostel. It is a bit pricey but, you can compensate for it with coffee, breakfast, and comfort. The staff is very young, they love laughter and having fun. Overall, the young staff adds to the Hostel's great vibe. I can't understand why other clients complain about this. I don't see any negativity in a bunch of young people having fun while working. This is a 10 out of 10 hostel, book it without hesitation and enjoy your pancakes in the morning. "Elza" is the employee of the day, week, and year ;-)
