bright and comfortable room. I enjoyed sitting outside on the bench in the enclosed grassed area beside the rooms and listening to the birds singing. Cereal, coffee, tea and orange juice provided in the room for breakfast. The food on offer for lunch and dinner in the Donkey is really good.

The staff were very helpful, the bar food was excellent, our rooms were next door to each other as requested because my daughter and baby stayed with us. The rooms were good, warm and clean with the usual facilities. We had stayed once before when we visited family in Colchester and that is why we decided to stay again. Pool facilities were excellent.

It was a house where we gathered together with our family friends and had a nice, fun and peaceful time. We used the jacuzzi, garden and barbecue. It was clean and comfortable. We felt comfortable with the children.

Lovely place right by the sea. The mobile homes were spacious enough and well laid out. The resort has a family feel and was great for kids of all ages. The beac was nice to walk along but not great for laying down a towel. Stoney, a bit littered and lots of jellyfish! Just a short walk away, there’s a fantastic kids playground with plenty of sand to play with.

The location is perfect for everything! You get to go anywhere! The dining room/restaurant is beautiful! For families everything is nearby! Amazing location. The deputy manager(Sam) tried to assist but we just could not stay due to my health and my baby. The staffs are well behaved! They are amazing customers service providers! Very professional all through despite our experience. They kindly refunded my money. They tried to compensate for everything. You could tell the staffs need more to work with. Really disappointed at Holiday Inn.

A beautiful hotel at a quiet location outside town Perfect for a relaxing one night stay Surrounding ground is immaculately taken care for with a lovely garden & a small lake just a stroll away. Lovely furnishings befitting for a heritage house. Room is too spacious for a solo traveller. A family with 2 young kids can stay inside the room comfortably for sure

Lovely small house with all amenities you need for a stay. Host was communicative and helpful - left us a travel cot out for the toddler in our party. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was warm. I would say note the stairs are very steep if you have small children to ensure that doors are shut :)
