Staff were friendly and helpful; Location excellent (we wanted a stay near Marwell zoo and this is right on the grounds so we could park in the hotel car park and walk straight across to the zoo entrance!); the setting was nice among the trees; We liked that it had a bar and restaurant and swimming pool (though we didn't use the pool as we anticipated); We liked that we could book a family room to fit 2 children and 2 adults comfortably

Amazing location on the same site as Marwell Zoological Park. Was a very quiet and peaceful resort - especially loved hearing the animals at night from the zoo. Very family friendly - bar and restaurant area were well looked after. Room was spacious.

This hotel was beyond amazing for a short family stay with 2 young kids. Room was spacious and very clean, restaurant/pub food was so tasty for both dinner and breakfast, and the staff were exceptional. Really child-friendly place but would cater to anyone.

I treated my children and their families to a stay at this hotel for a family get together. They were absolutely delighted. The attention to detail was impeccable. My daughter was delighted with the toiletries alone. The kids loved the TV and they all loved the comfy beds, spacious rooms and fantastic breakfast. We will be having another family reunion in the summer, just as an excuse to stay at the running horse again!
