The communication with the owner was very fantastic. They were so helpful, and let us check in earlier. The place was very comfortable for us given that we had kids. The location is perfect. The apartment is well equipped. It's definitely worth it, and l would book it again. All the utilities were working perfectly.
I recommend it to all who want to spend some time in Zansibar.

The room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of varieties, well seasoned, absolutely no complaints. The hotel was also close to many beach activities and tours that we took so was really convenient.

The facilities are traditional but look impeccable and well preserved. It offers high quality comfort. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, plus the breakfast is plentiful. The staff were very welcoming and helped us with any issue we had in our stay in Stone Town.

We loved everything about our stay at Kholle House, from the delicate attentions in our room to the carefully selected furniture, tasteful interior design, and delicious breakfast, all complemented by a great location. For anyone looking for a secretive place with character that echoes Stone Town's rich history and culture, this is it. Meeting the friendly manager, who shared more about the history of the guesthouse, was a wonderful bonus!
Centrally located in Zanzibar’s Stone Town, Dhow Palace Hotel is set in a historical building from 1559. It features a swimming pool, restaurant and roof-top terrace with panoramic views.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
This was a great first and last stop on our Zanzibar adventure. Shoki Shoki is close to the airport (About 30 minutes), they were able to arrange a middle-of-the-night transfer (2:00am), and it is in an excellent location for exploring Stone Town. We stayed twice with four children aged 17 to 7. Great for a family stay.
Friendly and nice staff, proximity to an amazing beach and very good restaurants (we ate often at Sipano or ordered from Flames of Zanzibar), very nice pool, the kids also had fun in the jacuzzi, tiny and friendly wildilife visiting the garden which made for great pictures and thrilling for the kids who names two lizards The Rock and The Geko
Perfect and beautiful location, short walk to old Stonetown & shopping, beautiful old building and amazing interiors. Also child friendly staff, thank you!
Location
Breakfast spread
Family room layout with separate rooms and doors between children's room and adult room. This wasn't clear in the description,
so we were pleasantly surprised.
Friendly staff
We had a great stay at the Balcony House, they are really family friendly and made our 4 year old feel welcome and safe. Saidi on the front desk was very helpful and kind, we enjoyed his friendly chilled manner. The location was great with a bakery opposite and a short walk to all tourist attractions as well as a nice little water side cafe with affordable food. We felt very at home and want to stay back here at the end of our trip!
Family friendly hotel. I travelled with a 5yo, and they arranged a very friendly babysitter on site for my child. Thanks a million 😊
Rooms were quite spacious
Dreams is not located in Old Town but is walking distance via going through the market. Staff were pleasant as was the breakfast. Its good value for money if you are not expecting luxury. No lift so not ideal for those with any disability as breakfast room.is on 5th floor. Good for families as had 2 single beds with a double bed in a family room, therefore both our kids were happy as no fighting about sharing a sofa bed.
