We stayed at The William Vale back in December 2021. No comparison. Maybe it was due to the pandemic, but this time it was a world of difference. Back then, everything felt run-down and the staff weren’t particularly friendly. This time, everything was top-notch.

Great stay overall. Perfect location, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are big for NY standards. Will come back!
Located on a cobbled street in the SoHo neighborhood, this contemporary design hotel features a beautiful inner courtyard and an on-site terrace restaurant.
When the accommodation is just as important as the destination, a five-star stay should give that extra ‘wow’ factor as you enter the lobby. As well as offering the kind of service to make you feel like royalty, you’ll usually find highly rated on-site spas, gourmet restaurants and top-of-the-line beds you won’t want to get out of.
+ Fantastic location close to two subway stations and numerous grocery stores.
+ Very helpful and kind staff.
+ Compared to general American standards, diverse and sufficient breakfast.
+ Very comfortable beds.
+ Superb price/value relation, as for NYC.
Outstanding! Stylish ex-industrial chic, old NYC taxis in the forecourt, friendly, helpful staff, spotless everywhere, great gym. In a safe, upmarket area, cool bars, good eateries and an excellent Polish bakery around the corner (Syrena). A few minutes walk to Nassau Av subway, 30 mins into Manhattan. View of Manhattan skyline. One of our best ever stays.
Clean and nice hotel. Comfortable bed. Not a 4 or 5 star hotel but a very good 3 star hotel and a good bargain for New York. Apparently they were closing for a few months for renovations shortly after I stayed so maybe it will be upgraded but unfortunately that might also stop it being one of the few good bargains for hotels in New York. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if the renovations don't make the price a lot higher.
I loved how modern the place was and although it’s no 5 star hotel, I can see the host/owner puts effort into upkeeping the place and providing high end appliances for the persons that book.
Location ; it was close to a subway. The kitchen staff went the extra mile. The Chinese lady who supervises the kitchen was able to buy baked beans in for us as they were not originally on the breakfast menu. We are vegan, and we were extremely grateful for this. 5 stars for her !!! Xx
The medium room was so spacious and beautiful and everything was so clean! Loved the walk in shower and the luxurious bathrobes, the King bed and couch in the room was such a luxury as well - the team also left a handwritten note and free drink tickets for us for our anniversary bc I had made a note in the booking that it was a staycation celebrating our 1 Year : ) such a nice surprise! We got room service in the morning and it was so delicious. We will be back soon to dine at As You Are again for dinner <3
