One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in! The building and the gardens are beautiful, and it's just in front of the lake, which just adds magic to the overall experience. The staff, from the reception, to the restaurant and spa area, they're all amazing. When we arrived, we were offered the opportunity to check the room before settling in and we were offered the upgrade from a junior suite to a bigger suite with a balcony, since we were really hoping to have one. The room (actually, rooms, since we visited the other one as well) was amazing! Very spacious, very modern, clean, and high tech. You can control the blinds and lights from LCD panels, the bathroom is awesome and the bed was so, so comfortable (we slept extremely well!)! The pool was amazing, and the indoor spa also worth a visit (we had a great time there, especially one day, when it rained for hours and we felt like staying at the hotel). And, once again, everything feels new, clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was also very, very good, with different options from the basic buffets you usually find at other hotels; I especially appreciated the fruit, very fresh and well chosen. We were extremely pleased with our stay and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying at the Como Lake region. You can hire a boat from the hotel, but there's also the public port nearby if you want to go to Bellagio or Varenna, for example. There are also some restaurants nearby (but not a lot, some are just cafés or bistros with light snacks, but not appropriate for dinner), but you always have the hotel's restaurant if you prefer (we asked for room-service once, and the food was very good). A 5-stars hotel that definitely looks and feels like it. Very well impressed and we would certainly come back! 👌

A true treasure on the coast of Lake Como. All aspects of the hotel epitomized luxury and comfort. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable and the view on the lake from the room balcony takes your breath away.

L’établissement Passalacqua se situe à Moltrasio, à 8,2 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Villa Olmo. Il possède une piscine extérieure, une salle de sport, un jardin et un parking privé gratuit. Passalacqua is just flawless. Everything about the property is jaw-dropping - first the lovely lake views, and then the lavish decor. The details are outstanding - from the signature scent to the flowers and Christmas music, a cozy and elegant environment is created, in the form of a true winter wonderland. Every single staff member is very polite and friendly, going out of their way to make your stay perfect. My husband and I, on our honeymoon, received a very warm welcome and even a room upgrade. We were initially thinking of taking the ferry to explore nearby towns, but were so fascinated by Passalacqua that we decided to just spend our three days enjoying the lovely views. Not even the low temperatures deterred us from enjoying our stay thoroughly. We had both the formal dining experience and the bar food, and both were great. Our thanksgiving dinner was particularly flawless, with both great food and an unforgettable reception with live piano music. Breakfast was also unbelievable- Passalacqua has an amazing selection, and the staff is absolutely amazing at making you feel at home. We were constantly asked if we needed anything, and all of our needs were instantly catered to. The spa was also a highlight. We were given an amazing tour of the installations and had a blast at the newly inaugurated indoor pool. Overall, this was a memorable experience and made our honeymoon unforgettable. We sure hope to be back in the future.
