Beautiful property in a lovely location. Ray the host was wonderful and very friendly. The room was very well appointed with a very comfortable bed, a fridge and an excellent powerful shower. The honesty bar and beautifully furnished dining room and lounge were also welcomed. The property is ideally located for all the amenities that Guiting Power offers and was a great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Hope to return soon.

Our host Amanda, was wonderful and so welcoming. We were very late checking in, and she was brilliant about it. The rooms were gorgeous and the gardens immaculate. It was a shame we were only staying one night.

The cleanliness, the decor, the staff, so welcoming, it’s super dog friendly but also doesn’t lack the sophistication I was hoping for. There was also a Barbour dog bed, blanket and gift for our dog upon arrival.

Tony and Jules were fantastic hosts - very kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - both the quality of food and options available. The property location is also a huge plus with it being just a five minute walk to Bourton High Street. I would recommend Southlands to anyone.

The house is really nice and comfortable, it worth a 4 star home stay. I like the smell of the house, the owner has a really good taste on decoration, use all the fragrance and amenities. Free drink and milk are offered. The most wonderful part is the super convenient location, it is in the center to everywhere, just 5 mins walk can go to the river, nice restaurant, model village and nice shops.

Location was great. This renovated guest house is modernly decorated and my room was a good size and lively and clean. Beware The staff are not always on site should you need them but can be called. Breakfast provided was Al la carte and great choices available. Having a small fridge with complimentary water, soft drink and wine in it was a great pleasant surprise.
