The staff were welcoming. The whole property was clean and bright and the bedroom was more than comfortable. We don’t live too far away from the hotel but it felt like we were on holiday. We very much enjoyed our stay and have booked to go back again.

Located in Chichester, 400 metres from Chichester Cathedral, George & Dragon Inn has a number of amenities including a restaurant, a bar and a garden.

I was only here for one night but it was a great location for me to see things. I was welcomed on arrival and was able to leave my luggage as I was early for check-in. Staff gave me great directions to the Roman Palace using a local bus,. I ate supper at the pub and I thought it was very tasty. Yes, breakfast is basic but still good. The rooms are in a separate building behind the pub. I liked that I could access the room using a back driveway and not having to go through the pub.

The Shower was very modern with the water coming from the ceiling above you. The best in my opinion. The Staff were all friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julia's home. It was peaceful, stylish and comfortable and the location is perfect and easily walkable to the city centre and the railway station. We have never had such a fantastic breakfast and Julia was a very responsive host - both before and during our stay. Thank you Julia and we highly recommend staying here.

The apartment was super comfy and cosy. Bedding was first class. We run two rental properties and we know how important good quality bedding is to the guest experience. Apartment was well stocked, which meant we could also eat in rather than eating out all the time. Whilst in the city centre, we were facing the Cathedral which meant it was very quiet. We met Maria, the housekeeper, who was very friendly and showed us around the other apartments. If she ever moves to North Devon, we'd happily have her look after our rentals.

The room exceeded our expectations - good size, spotless, looked recently renovated, bright and well furnished. Also nice little extras - tea, coffee, biscuits, mints, etc. Location is great if arriving by train - 4 minute walk from station, on southern edge of city centre, so not far to Cathedral and other attractions. A bit far if main purpose is visit to Festival Theatre. Value excellent considering it includes cooked and continental breakfast.

The owner and all the staff were very friendly. The bedroom was spacious and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean, modern and stylish. In fact, a lot of thought has gone into the interior design of the hotel, it really is very lovely. The breakfast choices were extensive and the food delicious and very nicely presented. The location of the hotel is perfect. This hotel deserves more than a 2*.
