Very comfortable room, huge bed, clean and well-equipped bathroom, splendid view. Impressive leisure centre with a decent-sized pool for serious swimmers like myself…although the water was a tad too warm for comfort!

Firstly, great location, outside the immediate city centre, but only around 10 minutes walk away. Large room, with comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. Great breakfast with a great choice, and everything was of high quality. We had our evening meal in the hotel as well and again everything was fantastic. Great staff, could do enough for us. We will stop there again If we had been on the TV Program Four in a Bed we would have overpaid!

I am very familiar with the city, and this location is practically unrivalled in terms of convenience. It is right on Elvet bridge in the centre of town, less than a 5 minute walk from everything in the city centre, and only a 10 min walk to university facilities on the hill. The room was surprisingly spacious, it was clean and all facilities worked well, it was also surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the attached pub. The Pub is a really nice one, with a cosy feel yet modern. Wish I could have stayed longer and caught some live music.

We booked as we were getting married in Durham City Centre and wanted additional space to get ready. The apartment was everything we needed and more. Central location, parking space, comfy beds and stylish space. Great outdoor area. James was amazing and provided an amazing hamper and was so accomodating with the make up, hair and photographer attending during the day-arranging that they could park in the car park.
