the gentleman who runs the guesthouse with his family was absolutely amazing. He collected us from the airport and had to wait a really long time but did so with a smile, he went out at midnight to find food for my family and I, he made check in as easy as possible as we were still in Thailand holiday clothes rather than for sun zero temperatures. They made sure we go to the airport on time, very early I might add, and packed a breakfast for us.

Games and table tennis was available for group bonding - would be better if there is more variety, better kept and cleaned and free ktv available to encourage longer stays for groups who are keen to be away from the city and experience the village kind of quiet lives. There was a welcome drink that we couldn't get enough of! The room was large, beds were comfortable (best in our 10 day Yunnan trip), and it was fun to stay in a historical building.
