We had a big family room, which was perfect for our purposes, in a tastefully renovated historic building. The location is excellent to explore the city centre and the surroundings of Eisenach, and not very far from the train station either (can be reached by bus or on foot).

We stayed in a small apartment, though we did not cook while there. It was tastefully furnished with a table and bench next to the kitchenette. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners responded promptly to an issue which we had. The Wartburg Castle, the Bach House and the Luther house were well worth the visit to Eisenach.

Extremely clean, comfortable and modern. Everything was automated, which is great in theory except there were no instructions on how to use the Wi-Fi in the room and no one was answering the phone. I imagine this can be quite a problem if there's an issue with a key or similar.

The breakfast was superb, with a variety of choices from granola and yogurt to scrambled eggs, currant jam, orange juice, coffee and more. Interesting furnishings in the dining area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We didn't like anything. We were led to believe it was a much nicer property than it was. I was trying to avoid hotel chains on my trip but wish I had stayed anywhere else.

Spacious extra large apartment. Very light. Excellent cooking facilities. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable beds. Lovely balcony and an extra sun room/breakfast room. The owner was really nice and nothing was too much trouble.
